As there's already one for Massie, and Drummond is BOUND to do one for young Bryce Campbell ... I thought it only just and right, that his most vocal supporter provide the eulogy for his untimely end with the AFC.


One day a young man appeared on our scene
Young Luke "The Walls" Jericho seemed able and keen
He could take a strong mark and run like the breeze
but going in and under never came with great ease

For six years he graced our beloved Club's list
and his pic in the calendar one couldn't resist
but not many games ended up coming his way
and the detractors kept screaming "Let's give him away".

So much potential was there but not often seen
It was hard to see the way forward after we'd seen where you'd been
And while it's now time for us to take that last dance
Perhaps, out there somewhere, there'll be one more chance

Grab hold and take it with both hands til you bleed
We'd love nothing more than to see you succeed
I'll be lost, it's true, because you'll no longer be here
so who do I stick up for now and loudly cheer?

I am sure I'll find someone, there is always that one
who others poke sticks at and always make fun
I'll support them and fight for them till I'm black and I'm blue
No different, you see, to what Ive done for you.

He slowly would amble into a half arsed jog

So really his game was quite shallow
And often compared to marshmallow
As we hear his name called and wave him goodbye
We do with relief and a very dry eye

Thanks Jericho for representing our club, while I didnt think IMO you were the greatest player at our club you surely did put in some performances that helped us win games!

I think its sad that some people can lay the boots into someone that has now left our club.

I think its time to let this rest now.

I find it amusing that a troll can get banned yet its ok to openly put the boots into a now former player with an ode, I think its sad !

People were putting the boots in long before he left, so at least people are treating him with consistency.

Sure he shirked contests, and everyone on this board has a certain degree of amusement/frustration when it comes to Jezza but FFS get a life.

He played 33 more AFL games than you did, so you can either keep things a little less nasty or **** the hell off this board.

Btw, Mcleod often has the limp wristed action when he kicks the ball, so are you going to question his sexuality?
