Silvagni would have the most value of any delisted FA if that turned out to be true. Sure he got toweled up in the SF, but Walker is an absolute jet and had turned it on that night. I doubt anyone would have controlled him.

Dogs now in the hunt for Gumbleton if Dawes doesn't happen, eight clubs rumoured to have enquired about Tayte Pears, Rob Warnock to GWS if a possibility if Giles leaves.

Geelong no longer keen on Gysberts and may struggle to get Jared Rivers so now focused on Mitch Brown and McIntosh

Also got absolutely no help from team mates

Silvagni smashed Baz in his last game. Only had 1 goal up until the last quarter where Silvagni got injured.
He then kicked 4 goals in about 10 minutes.

It's not the fact that Silvagni got destroyed by Tex. Plenty of defenders one-out on him will be in similar situations. Especially if you're giving away height, experience and mass to a talent like that.

What turned me off him is just the way Silvagni handled it. Hands on hips, hardly any body work. Looked like he was about to cry. It's just generally not the right mental approach, especially to someone like Walker who will eat that up. Not a good look at all.

Some cats posters were keen on him a while ago. My assessment was he has been in the system long enough to cement a spot if he's good enough. 29 games at 25 years old suggests he's not much chop.

Keep in mind the posters were looking for an upgrade on Gillies who is pretty much just as good (if not better) than Silvagni based on AFL performances. Take into account Gillies is only 22 I think he should be more sought after than Silvagni.

Silvagni has only been in the system 2-3 years irc

Yeah, if Silvagni has been delisted I can think of quite a few clubs that'd come knocking as a delisted FA. There's plenty out there that'd like a young KPD who has shown a bit of promise.

Long enough for a mature age recruit. Look to Harry Taylor for a good comparison. (As they would have been drafted at similiar ages).

You'd imagine GWS/GC would both be interested (even though GC in talks with Gilham/Murphy) and maybe Brisbane/Port (replace Chaplin), Melbourne (if Rivers goes), Carlton even. He should have plenty of suitors

That's pretty much the list that I was thinking of. Maybe the Saints as well.
