We tackled better when you had the ball and won more contested ball when it was 50/50, what more is there to say? And finals is still another 20 rounds away, a bloody long time, still 11 games out of the next 20 we need to win for 8. Let's keep a lid on it unlike the Carlton fans Saints.

I'm not sure what point your trying to make?

Obviously we wern't first to the ball ALL night but we did win more ball than you, and we did have more tackles than you.

What are you trying to point out Jars? Please explain

Really only that the free kick count was not solely due to you being first to the ball but was also as a result of bad umpiring.

A minor issue in the scheme of things because as I said you guys were deserved winners. Good luck for the rest of the year.

Well I must confess to being a bit of a rugby league fan (my apologies) and when you have more tackles it invariably means your forwards (the big no neck players ;)) have done more work than the opposing forwards so as the game goes on gaps begin to appear in the defensive line due to fatigue. The more tackles a team is forced to make, the more likely they are to concede points and lose games.

It's different in footy and I don't need to bother explaining it because I couldn't put it any better than StFly already has.

The umpires were certainly poor and while we were on the receiving end of some apalling decisions ourselves we certainly got the best of it. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised with how the Adelaide supporters have acknowledged we were the better team before complaining about the umpires. The easy option would have been to have blamed the umpires but most haven't done that. Anyway I thought Cometti came up with one of the best lines of the night when he said the Crows weren't "getting the rub of the green" (in obvious reference to the umpires in green).

Congrats to you guys on an impressive performance on Friday night. Your bigger bodied mids absolutely killed us. I noticed that Neil Craig downplayed the influence of Dal Santo - only because we were stupid enough to take Brent Reilly ahead of him all those years ago.

The umps were always going to be against us after Collingwood and the media kicked up but that is not why we lost the game. Skills under pressure win matches: NDS and Montagna in particular were superb in this regard, whereas our inexperienced side were dreadful.

Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season :thumbsu:

Adelaide have beaten no one, there way ahead of themselves, If were fully recovered which we should be, we'll win this one easily, they cant match us any where on the ground.

Edwards, Thompson, Goodwin, Symes, Van Berlo, Shirley, Doughty, Knights

Montagna, Hayes, Dalsanto, Goddard, Jones, Baker, Ball, Gram

and it doesnt look good for Adelaide at either end.

Good luck to Adelaide even though i hate them, I respect the coach and what they have done with such a young list, but i give them no chance this week.
