I don't have a clue for claiming Hickey, the guy that averages under 10 disposals a game, less than half a goal a game and just over 10 hit outs a game is yet to show he can impact at the top level?

I've seen Hickey play, I was just using that as evidence. For what it's worth it was quite good evidence.

I'm just saying he hasn't really shown he can impact games, this is just what I have seen at AFL level. Hickey could still turn out to be a great player.

McEvoy,Stanley and Hickey that's a very envious ruck division for the next ten years. Given that Stanley has the potential to be a gun CHF the Saints look well places t ok stock up on midfield types for years.

What did Mumford go for when he went to Sydney, i guess different circumstances as Cats couldnt afford him but boy he showed some real talent the year he left Geelong.

Ripped is paying 850k+ a year for a guy who hasnt played a dominant game in 2yrs, who doesnt win his own ball and who finished top 5 in our b&f once.

It looks promising but time as always will tell.

Reality is, we couldve taken pick 13 to the draft and still picked up a guy who in 3 yrs doesnt make it - that happens.

I laugh at the "experts" who reckons using draft pick 13 was GUARANTEED to produce a gun....no such thing.

Good trade. Love the fact we've used 2 trades to get 2 sought after 21 year olds that have a lot of promise and will keep out 2 aging players in kosi and Blake.

Will it pay off? Who knows, but for the position our club is in after Ross Lyon it's a positive move.

cats are no longer that interested mainly because they have to cut someone as it stands and I don't think the cats are wanting to cut any more but word is the bombers are into him a bit (only a little thought)

Stanley has shown some serious potential,but then injuries have held him back, hopefully for Saint supporters he has a big year and takes some load off Reiwoldt. Getting another Ruck will hopefully help him to use his running powers and he can become a good forward.

If you consider 2 games as showing he can impact then good luck to you. But you could argue 95% of players could do the same.

His name has been mentioned in trade period. He is contracted so i doubt Melbourne give him up for not much. Was a pick 11 when we got him and has been injured a lot. When he has played he has been promising. Would like to keep him personally.
