To be honest, I'm not that upset about the match (I haven't watched it...) as I always felt we'd get beaten by the pussies. Anyway.

Positives:
1. Bailey will FINALLY be shown the door, the little spurt of form around R11-14 distracted the MFC board when he should have been given the boot R9-10.

2. A reality check for the Dees fans that thought we are a chance for the finals, we are still middle of the road at best and will be better for it when we realise there is still a lot of work to do.

I remember the awful flogging (190 pts) Fitzroy gave us circa 1979. I was just a boy.
32 years later, no day premierships and we get flogged by 186 points.
I'm so disgusted it's not funny. Been a member for over 25 years. Pathetic.
Players are a bunch of useless arsewipes happy to take the big money without doing a thing. Fair enough to lose to Geelong at Skilled. 186 points! No way! We lost by a lot less previous years under Bailey when Melbourne were supposed to be worse.
This is the worst team I have ever seen.

You don't need Chris Judd's talent to play footy with the same effort Chris Judd plays with each week.
What an embarrassment each player today has brought to the club. What a dishonour each player has brought to the jumper and to the great players who wore the jumper with pride.
Bag Dean Bailey but the players have to be made accountable for this disaster.
I am so disgusted.

When will the agony of barracking for Melbourne end.
Change the coach. Rebuild for several more years. This group won't win a flag.

Bailey's whole ethos has been flawed since our pre-season. Some of us saw the sypmtoms early on this year and some of us disregarded them.

You can't just coast through a football season and rack up games without drilling your team for 2011 football and how to beat your opponent.

Whether we are ready to compete at a high level is not the point, whether our "premiership window" is open or not is not the point, without the proper preparation you're dead in the water.

For me, this clip sums up our whole naive approach to 2011.

The **** can't coach for sh1t but at least he can count I guess.

We've been completely unprepared since round 1 in too many aspects of modern football both on a team and individual level.

Even our team management and selections since the Darwin game beggar belief. We needed to rest a few last week and the sub needs to be able to run - for any given game.

How would you be if you were the marketing manager of this club?? It's probably the toughest gig in football. The poor bloke deserves some recognition. Promoting this team and creating membership drive would be an impossible task but this little fella in the back office has dug deep for this football club. How we even have a membership base as good as we do is quite amazing. Give this bloke the coaching gig!

I Bailey is still coaching against Carlton next week I will miss my first melbourne game in melbourne in the last 10 years.....****ing worst loss i've ever seen. Players have no heart! I guess the great idea to start Jurrah in the midfield on Bartel summed up Bailey's day.
