I've just been having a game of pool with my mate and wants to ask you if they are available at all good sex shops
Mr Palmer by any chance?

I hope the reports are wrong.

As it stands, Green Day are booked to play at Engie Stadium on Monday 3 March - and if we play GWS on Saturday it's 8 March, literally FIVE days after a concert.

Given it's arguably already the worst surface in the league, there is no way in hell the club (or even GWS) should tolerate a game being played there.

Suns are slated to play Essendon
We cant play Bris, given we play them a few weeks later
We play Syd gather round..

So who is left? GWS lol

Collingwood are also expected to play the Giants in opening round in 2025, as they did this season.

The Magpies have lost their past four encounters against the Giants at Giants Stadium. However, the fixture was a sellout in 2024 and the biggest crowd for a non-derby at the venue. Collingwood play Sydney at the Adelaide Oval on Friday night in Gather Round.

I'm not debating who we play, I'm saying how ****ed it is playing on a ground that's hosting a concert five days prior.

I don't care who we play in Adelaide considering our good win record there.
I think we're looking to extend the record for most wins in a row at Adelaide Oval - and that includes Port and Crows. Strangely though I don't think it suits us or we play it very well, but we keep finding a way to scrape across the line.

As long as it suits us better than Swans & we get the win again🤞

Wonder how many blow up dolls will be attending this match..

I will also go with ridiculous. Our draw is the envy of other clubs - we get the most "blockbusters" of any team in the comp - yes our crowds justify us getting them, but the fact remains we get the best H&A games of the year.

And, again because we currently deserve it, we get plenty of Friday nights as well.

If the AFL was of the mind to manufacture results to help the competition(ie. to make more dough), close to their number 1 preference(behind boosting the expansion clubs) would be Collingwood always in contention.
not as ridiculous as some of your posts ...I dont think Geelong are too envious of us when they get all those games at Kardinia park ????...lol..go and look at fixture degree of difficulty year after year ..no one is saying its a full on AFL conspiracy.. just was highlighting how the pies usually get the rough end of the pineapple in terms of teams played twice and 5-6 day breaks..So what about blockbusters ??...every game against us is nearly a blockbuster...blockbusters are related more to crowd size and financial gain..it has nothing to do with degree of difficulty ... AFL use us as a cash cow ..and if it means our draw becomes harder ..tough bikkies...amazing how we played Essendon twice for years and years and as soon as bombers players got suspended after the drugs scandal and they became easy beats there was no more double blockbusters against them no matter the crowd size

Welcome to paradise

The AFL aren't 'chipping away at us' (ridiculous comment), but both of those scheduled games does work against us.

Unfortunately, the notion of Gather Round means that all non-Adelaide teams play 'away', and therefore those that are scheduled as the home side are giving up home ground advantage. It is annoying, but I'd expect it evens out over time (as this concept is here to stay).

With Opening Round, we are playing that because we are a big team, not because the AFL hates us, but we do really need to win that game. Which is why not having Houston is going to be tough to cover. We just need to hope that they are underdone due to their finals push last year, but I doubt teams ever really get to round one and not in shape

So Carlton’s not a big club? Surely if that was the reason they’d be there again…

Or will opening round every year be Collingwood and 3 different Victorian clubs ‘sharing the load…’
