Where is this constant notion hat he going to the Bulldogs coming from? There is absolutely no suggestion that he is leaving Port other than some idiot contributing to the trade bell bs a couple of weeks ago. I am not sure why we have to perpetuate this bs on our board.

I presume the speculation is because he's a Bacchus Marsh boy who played for the Western Jets U/18 where the Bulldogs are geographicly the closest AFL team to the Marsh.

The speculation exists because he hasn't signed a long term contract to stay, something that has presumably been offered to him. That doesn't mean he will leave but he's likely leaving his options open.

In my post, there was no suggestion he was leaving Port at all. I think reading comprehension has gone out the window.

Also, there is some speculation because he didn't sign a huge deal like Rozee but kept it short to keep his options open.

I thought it was common knowledge that Butters is a Bulldogs fan.
