They have to re-sign him ASAP!
Sign his sister to a AFLW contract as we did Duursma. Hopefuly both younger brothers want to buy into the ‘family’ club and join their siblings here before their careers are complete.

Have two brothers ever played against each other in Tasmania before?

There's a rumour about twins who played for Footscray in the 90s that enters Tasmania meme territory.

Worst case scenario is that he plays well the rest of the year, asks to go back to Victoria and Port gets a 1st round pick for him in return. Best case scenario is he re-signs for a few more years. Either way the club isn't going to lose him for nothing.

He improves every week and other clubs are sniffing around.

Good leverage for his manager to crank up Port's offer.
We have had a lot of wins lately, last bloke I can really recall walking away that was ‘best 22’ was Ben Jacobs. We are bound to lose one here and there. However I hope it ain’t Burgmann or George. However if he/they do leave we will be well compensated for their departure.

And if that can somehow nab us Durrsma Jr or Visintini the second I’m not against it…

Burgmann COULD develop into a supreme Midfielder with his two way running and ability to flat out gut run, however I don’t see his ‘tools’ being greater than Rozee, Butters or JHF and Drew covers them well defensively. With us he will be the third tall back. Not an indispensable role.

The same boat as Mitch, a lot to like and work with, however will never be the lead man in your forward six. If he is not happy at Port and looking elsewhere, we would be paid ‘overs’ for what he offers in terms of structure to our 22.

I want to keep him, I want to have him play in the wing - yesterday, but if we are viewing him as a Jonas replacement and he can snag us a pick around the same value we paid for him I wouldn’t be overly disappointed.

Amon was best 22.

Highly replaceable but still was in our best team.

Agree on the rest though. I don’t think we are in a bad spot if either decided they want out. Would be more disappointed to lose Miles than Mitch but both should command first round comp picks.
