A late first is less than we spent to actually draft, let alone that he looks to be a future 200 game player.

Agree with you that he is worth more than a late first to us. However I’m merely being realistic, if he doesn’t sign and says he wants to go to Victoria, you’re trading a best 22, 50 gamer, former pick 14, and probably getting a mid-late first rounder back, no one’s giving up at top 10 for Bergman.

So yeah, it’s important he signs.

Haven’t heard Hammer but my guy feeling is that I tend to agree, think he’s leaning more towards leaving then staying.
