I don't think he'll leave, he's just playing the game to extract the best offer. All player managers guide their players to do it however if I'm wrong and he does leave then I'm confident Lachie Jones would slot nicely into his spot at half back, it's where he's most suited.

Lachie Jones isn’t fit to lace miles boots. One is a Ferrari, the other is a Datsun.

I'd much prefer to keep him but he's significantly improving his trade value every week at the moment. Most of the time when we trade people out we've whittled down their value by getting our media mouthpieces to talk shit about them to soften the blow for the supporters, because we're an organisation run by losers.

On another note, can we confirm whether or not Miller Bergmann from North is his brother? Some say he is some say he isn't.

Next minute ken drops him and plays him out of position in the SANFL while the club feeds the media rumours about off field behaviour issues so we can downgrade our second round pick and get 2 3rd round picks back

If he keeps improving through the year like he has been he will be worth a lot more this year in a trade compared to last year.

True. But a young first rounder should’ve got us a decent pick last year. And considering we needed quite a few picks to get JHF and rioli and fell short getting Ratugolea if there was any inkling Bergman wanted to go home we would’ve tried to trade him last year I would’ve thought.

A late first is less than we spent to actually draft, let alone that he looks to be a future 200 game player.

Agree with you that he is worth more than a late first to us. However I’m merely being realistic, if he doesn’t sign and says he wants to go to Victoria, you’re trading a best 22, 50 gamer, former pick 14, and probably getting a mid-late first rounder back, no one’s giving up at top 10 for Bergman.

So yeah, it’s important he signs.
