Allclubs have their feral supporters that embarrass the crap out of the club and the true supporters. It is what the club does when peanuts like this are caught that projects the true culture of the club. Not being in Melb or a Pies supporter I don't know what the outcome was, if anything did happen.
As for the incident itself, spitting on someone is as low as it goes. The official who was right there should get the sack, or at the very least be repositioned to the kitchen or toilet duties.

Thought the photo against Saints was obvious the guy isn't in the cheer squad, he is in the bay to the left/right depending which way you are looking at it. The Essendon supporter was sitting in the cheer squad.
Yes I would. That would end all the accusations of who he supports. Plus, if it turns out he's a Bomber supporter, it would make sure he gets a hard time at any Bomber games he attends in future, because no self respecting Bomber, would go to that game & support either team.
So name him & shame him, pretty simple really if you all know who he is, as you are claiming.

The individual concerned was asked to leave the official cheer squad area by cheer squad members before the incident occurred but refused.
The Collingwood Football Club strongly opposes the behaviour of the individual and if the findings of our investigation were that one of our members was responsible, that membership would have been terminated instantly

But I do think it's farfetched to think it's not a Collingwood fan. He's right in the middle of the cheer squad front row centre in a sellout, screaming abuse at opposition player.
Has anyone commented on how shit a spit it was. Fev was like 1/2 a meter away and the bloke still couldn't hit him.

I think the first spit definitely landed on Fev's jumper. That is why he wouldn't have felt it.
It kind of defies belief that an Essendon supporter would get so fired up at a Carlton v Collingwood clash that he would spit on a player. So the angriest person at the game doesn't support either side? I don't get it.

So it's just coincidence then, that in both photos he is next to the same lard arse, on his left in the top photo & right in the bottom one.

Nobody was spitting in the second pic.
There are some similar features on the main man in both pics but it is not conclusive. The nearby 'lardarse' referred to above also has a lot of similar features between each pic.
No absolute proof in the pics but possibilities. I just don't get why the 'Essendon fan' was so upset.

But that second pic was a year ago and there was no reason for any of the guys in the second pic to stop someone who wasn't doing anything wrong.
