This is a good thing IMO, as much as it pains me not to play finals.

It makes a mockery of Koch's insipid rambling after the board meeting on Friday, when confronted by the press: "we focused on making the finals; making the finals; making the finals".

The coach, the players, the team and the club once again tripped itself up - in this case at the second to last hurdle, having already knocked half of them over along the way. I don't want us to continue to be a club that accepts mediocrity. I don't want us to think that it's a pass mark that we made finals because other results went our way. I want us to return to being the most ruthless side in the competition.

The current administration and coaching hierarchy think that to be ruthless, you just need to talk about it. Well, it's a start, but you also have to take matters into your own hands and welcome the opportunity to control your own destiny in a positive (not negative) way through action. Our actions have let us down for an awfully long time.

Looks like there might be a 100 point victory at MARS today... its just the Bulldogs are going to get it.

We have two games at MARS, the first is a blowing a gale with a 5-6 goal breeze in one direction. The second is pouring with rain. Crows go up there and its a bit overcast with a slight breeze.

And that just sums up the year.

Two early goals to the Bullies. I really am torn in this game. Do not want to see the Cows win but the candle goes out if the Bulldogs win.

What number is this Sexist Walker that Cows fans are always talking about?
The candle is already out. Assuming what I heard a little while back is true even if the Doggies lose narrowly or draw we'd need to win by about 100 points to beat Hawthorn's 5% advantage over us.

lol - I expect there'll be Crows customers posting "har har, we got the last laugh on you, ya turncoat bastard!!" comments on that one

They periodically say it about me, despite the Crows being complete dogsh¡t over the subsequent period 🤪

The problem now is the Crows will now find the money to sack their coach and demolish the list and start again.

I don't want the result to get too bad or the media goldfish will forget about any pressure on Hinkley and direct all vitriol towards Pyke.
Yeah, we wanted the Bulldogs to win, not pulverise Adelaide. They now get (outside 1st round) better picks and pressure on Pyke as we 'beat them' into 10th or 11th. Watch us win and all ken's mates go full 'Youth! Exciting times ahead for Port!'. Christ Dwayne already out there pumping us up whilst loudly not mentioning Ken. That article could have been ghost written by Chapman and Roo to help lock us into Ken to ensure it doesn't achieve everything it's supposedly trying to have us do.

Imaging playing like the Dogs in a must win game against a team you should beat, to make finals.

We have a long way to go to be like the Western Bulldogs.
