When did the All Australian team become almost exclusively for players from the good teams? 18/22 players from the top 7 teams. It's weighted too far towards good players in good teams rather than just good players these days.

Except for Cripps. Who can queef out a dozen touches against Essendon and 18 & 1 against the Suns and no-one cares.

On Sportsday SA, Jon Ralph saying every Crows staffer, including Puke, has a payout clause in their contract stating that the club does not have to pay them out fully if sacked ....
Surely not expressed that way, or there's no point in having a contract. Perhaps something like will be paid out at 80% (or whatever) if terminated?

No all Australian selections though.

Boak not making it is so wrong.
Not really. Made the expanded team which is fair. Might have overcome a few down games in a very uneven team but for the drop-off in accuracy kicking for goal from a few years ago. 30+ possessions is great but needed to produce more than 10G 13B.

Boak should of been in the AA way ahead of tim kelly
They're not crazily different in stats if you look them up on Footywire. But Kelly had a few less possessions and a few more goals in a more successful team so just on that I'm sure any neutral judge would give it to him.

boak averaged more possies more contested possies more efficient more clearances all in less game time, on a losing side.

Boak averaged 5 more touches a game. That’s pretty significant.

Goals per game pretty similar- 0.8 to 0.5

Kelly was amazing early in the year but faded significantly, especially when other teams put effort into stopping him.

The Bont™ kicked 15.25

So it's been revealed Hugh Greenwood revealed may leave, he's gone from 'best contested player in the comp' to a plodder who didn't set the world on fire this year and doesn't deserve two years.

Amazing how the customers change their tune.

I really rate Greenwood. Could make the starting 22 at most clubs I reckon, Adelaide just have too many inside plodders.

Name me your 2019 SA State of Origin team ....
Could be interesting
