Rory Sloane has just bumped that anaesthetist fella who went down the cave in Thailand for South Australia's next nomination for Australian of the Year.

Rory on his way to training today

Isn’t this the injury that ended Dane Swan’s career? I’m pretty sure it doesn’t have the best recovery rate, in particular with players at the end of their careers. This could really blow up.
Not as bad as the one Swan had. Dane Swan broke three bones in his foot, including the Lisfranc. Sloane had a Lisfranc strain, and unlike most strains it keeps players out for extended periods.

There is so much gold there
* "infirm team" with their injuries well yes, yes they are an infirmary.
* play PA in finals will be like the grand final again... wait the one where they capitulated to the Tigs well yes that would be worth it.
* the belief they are going to win 6 or 7 of their next 7 games ok maybe back of your meds buddy.
* 5 years with a foot injury is 50/50 but i am glad he signed because although he may not be able to football anymore he is such a nice guy and that is what our club needs, not reliable footballers but nice guys

Wow so much to like.

Sloane won't take the captaincy from Tex. They're mates, business partners, and Rory comes across as super vanilla to me, doesn't have a rock the boat bone in his body. Let's be honest, if he was that objected to the AFC no amount of money could keep him there. He likes it there.

Which would be ideal, of course.

“Good News” Fages has emerged from hiding and will be on SEN soon to discuss Sloane’s recommitment.

If he sees his shadow the Crows will have seven more rounds of sucking.
