Pretty sure the Today show news caption should've been AFL legend Robbie Flower and not ALF legend...

Hird strongly believes he and the players are innocent and have not taken performance enhancing drugs. I haven't kept up with the situation but why do people assume that they are guilty? What are the facts that the public do know?
I know for a fact that the Port players, or one in particular, knew 1 month ago that Gorringe wanted to come to Port. I would strongly suggest that Gorringe himself had a big say in which club he wanted to go to. Stupid is just being the crows ambassador that he he does so well and trying to minimise the damage.cRowie: Gorringe didn't pick Port his management would have rung both Adelaide clubs & the crows probably said nah he'd be 4th or 5th in line of rucks we are looking at, so the he picks Port
Apparently prostate cancer!!!! I know everything possible is being done to find a cure for this insidious disease: hopefully the breakthrough comes sooner, rather than later!!!Sad news about Robbie Flower. A real gentleman of the game, and one of the smoothest movers on a footy field I've ever seen.

You don't die suddenly of prostate cancer, especially when it has been successfully treated 14 years ago. He died of heart failure. He was suffering from cardiomyopathy and had heart surgery earlier this year.Apparently prostate cancer!!!! Fair enough: one of the guys at work told me it was cancer. Yep: wise warning - these things can strike anybody at any age.You don't die suddenly of prostate cancer, especially when it has been successfully treated 14 years ago. He died of heart failure. Not diminishing the dangers of prostate cancer but if detected early enough it is curable. Get checked gentlemen.
If Hird believes that, he should welcome the investigation and the opportunity to argue his case. Instead, he has chosen the coward's path of trying to have the investigation struck down on a legal technicality.Hird strongly believes he and the players are innocent and have not taken performance enhancing drugs. I haven't kept up with the situation but why do people assume that they are guilty? What are the facts that the public do know?
....Get checked gentlemen.
I tried.
Awkward is when a female doctor lubes for the back end, reaches forward and you go to work on the front end and then she says that's not appropriate you have to leave.

No one knows for sure what evidence ASADA has that they believe warrants the issueing of SCNs. EFC and Hird keep appealing to court to get the evidence thrown out. This we are told is becoz EFC and Hird believe they are innocent. You can make as much sense of that as you like.
Force of habit, eh?
North have officially moved to get both Waite & Higgins as FA's. They really think they are close to having a tilt.
Sort of. Not knowing exactly what they took is against ASADA rules. So they can ping them on stuff like that.Is it possible that ASADA do not have evidence of what the injected substances were but are acting upon the practice of those injections and because Essendon cannot appropriately declare the substances?
Define 'Essendon'. Are you talking the board, James Hird, the players or what? James Hird knew for sure. The players should have known but probably trusted their medical staff enough to not even give it a second thought. Is it possible that Essendon were foolishly trusting the people that were sourcing the substances and administering those substances, and thus do not believe they were morally choosing to cheat the game?
You can absolutely understand their thought process. Those two should get a prelim final loss under 10 goals.
Good old North. You can absolutely understand their thought process. Those two should get a prelim final loss under 10 goals.
Good old North.
They have one decent season after years of mediocrity and reach a PF after finding themselves on the soft side of the draw and the delusional fools think they're a premiership threat.
It's Richmond 2001 all over again.
There had been speculation Essendon had offered Robinson $800,000 to settle his year-long case but it's understood the final figure is closer to $1 million.
Robinson's lawyer Grant Walker, of Madgwicks Lawyers, simply said: "The matter is resolved."
Robinson, dubbed "The Weapon", had initially sought $2 million, including damages, for allegedly being the "scapegoat" of the club's 2012 supplements program. He was stood down on February 5 last year when the Bombers self-reported to the AFL and the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority.
