The good teams have the ability to score quickly and put a gap on the opposition when they have the momentum, Melbourne being the prime example.

We have no such ability. We are nothing more than a highly defensive team who try to stay in games as long as possible by engaging in a grind to the death. That's why we're mediocre at best.

Not true. A player who accidentally fumbles a ball over the line is not penalised for deliberate OOB. Intent has to be there, otherwise you'd have the last touch rule.
That rule isn’t decided by the umps judging whether a player intended to put it out or not.

Players accidentally knock the ball too hard or kick it too hard out of bounds all the time and it’s deliberate just the same.

It is laughable in the context of the fact that next week they'll go back to being called Melbourne, a name linked with white colonial oppression. So this week we acknowledge the traditional owners of the land and next week we go back to forgetting about them. If they really want to make a woke statement they should change their name permanently.
