Lol at that article calling doedee a chb.

He’s closer to Houston (in height and style - not Houston’s quality) than true chbs like Alir or butts.

Decent player but not a massive loss for the crows, aside from the lack of experience on the team.

Nah. The truth is somewhere in the middle. He's more of a rich man's Trent McKenzie.

Pretty sure Doedee was basically a like-for-like when Lever walked, good young interceptor except with leadership skills. Him going (along with McAsey who they trialled in the backlines) would leave them pretty thin on KPD stocks, beyond Butts and Murray they're stuck with Keane, Worrell, and Michalanney

On page 54 of today's paper it reads, Clubs ready to take charge. When you read to article it reads more like the Collingwood FC is ready to take charge of the AFL. Most of the article is taken up by the views of Collingwood President Jeff Brown who was ranked the most powerful man in the AFL in last year's Newscorp Poll. All that after being Collingwood President for less than 12 months.

Brown talks all about change but it appears to be change that will favour the big Victorians like Collingwood. He wants to review the soft cap. The article does not say what Browne proposes to do with the cap but you can bet it will not disadvantage Collingwood. Brown also wants the clubs to appoint the successor to Gillion McLachlan. Guess who their candidate is- Richmond CEO Brendan Gale.

The clubs want change says Browne. A pity that zest for change does not extend to Collingwood changing it's stance on club guernseys.

Hopefully the AFL Commission will maintain it's independence and tell the Victorian clubs who are driving this change to **** off.

It would be interesting to know the PAFC stance in all of this. Maybe Koch should be in the media making our stance known and maybe that stance should be circularised to all Members. It would be of more interest and relevance than some of the crap I have received in recent times.

Jordan Dawson the new Crows captain? Good player, but not a great sign if the best bloke you can find for captain is a guy who only turned up at the club 12 months ago and with no significant personal accolades outside of a Showdown medal.

His Wikipedia page is only two paragraphs long and the photo still has him in a Sydney guernsey. Not exactly high profile.

........ and according to Crowie didn't actually want the job

We should be telling Collingwood that if they want our support in their little campaign they can ****ing earn it.

Aww.
C'mon mate.
Why should the Grand Poobah suddenly start doing something constructive for his own club?

Give the poor dude a break.

Gee I wonder how Geelong will fit him in to their salary cap. Gonna be tough for them to ha hahahahahahahaha
Maybe the AFL will make the Crows throw in their first rounder too.

This was actually a pretty good post on the old face-of-book….

Until a certain photo…. Just saying…

Not a huge fan of Dixon and Fantasia unless they are both in form and playing together up front.. chuck ravioli in there and it’ll be interesting to see how they gel.

Is 65kg penne con Fantasia likely to line up round 1?

It's amazing how quickly Doedee has gone from future captain and star to no big deal if he leaves now that he looks like leaving.

Every time I hear/see his name I think of the time he laughed/scoffed when it was mentioned to him that Port were favourites for the upcoming Showdown.
