Melbourne just didn't want it. They came out just thinking it would happen, lost key moments through laziness and Geelong got rolling.

Said it all year, pre season Melbourne were favourites for the flag, on paper they have a very good side however I think quite a bit of their hunger is gone since they won the flag, seen them look very average in a few games this year.

I'm not much of a fan of Damien Barrett but he's 100% correct here

It's like the Crows this week. Would love them to lose, but a win helps us. So bugger it, we should be good enough to beat anyone, so let's just hope the results that can go our way do, and help us qualify top 2.

lol, our stadium can be seen from elevated points all over the city. I see it driving down lower north east road daily. It's a god damn landmark that fills you with pride, imagine thinking having such a grand stadium in your little town is a negative.

The problem with Damo is that, at the bottom of the same article, he rails against the AFL not citing Curtis Taylor for breaking Liam Jones's arm in what is also clearly a football accident.

Can't have it both ways, Damo.

Step 1. Using brickwork - use it as an opportunity to educate tradespeople.
Step 2. Using sustainable pine (not Tasmanian Oak)
Step 3. Incorporate stonework sourced from the same locations as around Salamanca.

Step 4. Cover it all in neon advertising to cover 1. 2. and 3. for the six hours a week that anyone cares.

Its Tasmania, in winter, for night football.
Light it up.

Broadcast the game on full screens outside the stadium, so people eating around the docks can watch the game.

Outside the box people.
Build something timeless or **** off.

Listened to it and found it very entertaining, even though there were times you were struggling to get a word in with our latino mate.

GP is a top bloke though, he and his family were very welcoming to my son during the weekend he spent with them when he was teaching English at Corrientes in the far north of Argentina.

It does look like it, but it just goes to show, that bracing yourself for contact is a football act, and should not be automatically punished. If Cameron had been an oppo player, Rohan would have been sent to a maximum security prison, with a "Never to be Released" sign on his door!

After Rohan braces, Cameron bends down slightly and instead of a shoulder to shoulder contact, he connects perfectly with the head. Pure footy accident.

Its a conundrum!
