At the risk of being mercilessly slagged off for getting on my soapbox again...

Its kinda funny seeing NIMBYs get so up in arms about 10 trees.. or even a single tree in some circumstances. Like.. the voting record in this country shows no-one gives a **** at all about mass clearfelling in Queensland or rural NSW, logging of old growth in Tasmania, or any deforestation thats happening around the country... But someone wants to touch a 70 year old gum tree in the suburbs and it's all MUH TREE!!

don't get me wrong urban vegetation is important too... But carn.
