A Crows forward has “quit the club” in a move that left Adelaide “disappointed” and not yet ready to part with the 28-year-old. Shane McAdam has informed the Crows of his “intention to consider rival offers” after managing just seven games in 2023. It comes after SEN SA’s Michelangelo Rucci told his listeners McAdam had “quit the club”. “(McAdam) rejecting a two-year offer when he wanted three,” Rucci said. “He has had talks with Melbourne and will seek a trade to Melbourne.
Should walk to the PSD and play for Hawthorn while Wingard is out.

I genuinely did not know Matthew Bishop played for Melbourne too (it was just before my time watching footy but still).

One of the many home runs in that 96-03 period that resulted in rival clubs seemingly no longer wanting to do deals with Port from 04-onward.

Huh? He played some great games for us including a grand final, I’m pretty sure.

I had to read it several times. I believe there is an ill advised missing comma.

A football figure could join the AFL Commission as soon as the coming days, with a former Giant the likely pick as it stands.
Michelangelo Rucci provided an update on the league’s process on SEN SA’s The Run Home, stating numerous candidates have been interviewed in recent weeks. The AFL Commission has not had a football figure since 2021, the year both Jason Ball and Kim Williams departed the league’s board. It’s understood the AFL is in a position to elevate a new Commissioner with Andrew Dillon’s appointment as CEO-elect earlier this year.

Leigh Matthews recently pulled out of the process after becoming disenchanted with the league’s methods, while Matt De Boer is another name to be floated. “We need to have a football person on the AFL Commission,” Rucci began. “There have been four candidates interviewed right in Gillon McLachlan’s house actually in recent days and weeks.
“There was a South Australian contender, don’t push me on who it is because there’s a bit of confidentiality on this, but a former player in this town. He will not be on the Commission.” He added: “We heard Caroline Wilson float Matt De Boer… I’m hearing it’s not Matt De Boer, it’s actually Phil Davis. “We could get an answer this week.”

I couldn't work out wtf he meant. That missing comma changes it entirely!

Don't push me on this because there's a bit of confidentiality.

Btw it's Phil Davis

Toby Bedford actually is what Ken Hinkley thinks Jed McEntee is.
