It's the West Coast cycle. New coach comes in, contends, snags a flag, cycles to the bottom and hoards picks. Rinse and repeat.

This time round the TKelly trade stuffed the cycle by 2 years but they will accept a bottom out as they will be back in contention in a year or two again and this will all be forgotten.

Meanwhile at Alberton we are content to wait to see if maybe next year will be our year, without any meaningful change.

While our GM publicly declares the list might not be good enough, despite every move he’s made over the past decade being geared towards an all-in tilt at the flag.

The industry: “his honesty is so refreshing, why are they mad?!”

Its bizarro-world. Imagine presenting a business case to investors and then blaming the investment as to why they have no returns, like they should have known in the beginning it was snake oil?

But West Coast can’t get rid of Adam Simpson, that’s ridiculous! Don’t they know that there’s nobody available to replace him, who exactly do they think they’re going to get?

Don't think there's even a selection process which is a shame.

Dean Cox.

Where's the outrage from Caro? Simpson only had 11 years - surely he needs more time....to make a third grand final.
Caro and Kane would argue it’s obvious the players aren’t playing for Simpson unlike Ken

We can’t afford to bottom out apparently

The coach said it’s his best list ever

Adam Simpson, 11 Years, 6 Finals Series (7W, 5L), 2 GF's, 1 Premiership
Ken Hinkley, 12 Years, 6 Finals Series (5W, 7L), 0 GF's, 0 Premierships

And.... They've gotten into the market ahead of us. A good brave and smart call by a ruthless board. Meanwhile don't touch Kenny boy.
