I'm thinking Port will get up this time. Overall consistency is better than the Crows hence where they are on the ladder. While we've come good at the tail end it will take the game against the Doggies to beat em and I'm not sure we have the consistencey to serve that up again.
This is the first glipse of our true forward line without Tex. Prior to that Filthy wasn't playing so this will be interesting as long as our mids can get a hold of it.
End of the day I think your mids beat our and I reckon thats where it will be won. :(
Praying I'm wrong

Yep can’t see how the power don’t get up here .
So much riding on this game
They traded out their first this year to load up with shot at the flag
Time to deliver

expect this to be a close one, with the weather slowing it down
crows should give a good showing for them self -even without Tex,who they will miss
But, power will be to strong .. power by 14p

I think Port by 60 points. But shocked Port have a bad record against The Crows, the last few seasons, since Port finished higher than The Crows the last 7 seasons in a row.

Port 2 biggest weaknesses in the last 7 years play into the crows strengths. Their total inability to be mentally prepared for big games like showdowns and finals, and the high press which clogs up our forward line and leaves the opposition one open. The crows game plan is the exact opposite of this where they stack defence and slingshot forward and if they have their ball movement game on, it’s too easy for them to score out the back goals against our high defence.

The last showdown port kicked 5.18 from 57 inside 50’s due to having to take difficult chances in a congested forward line and adelaide kicked 12.6 from 47 inside 50’s due to easy open chances.

Fingers crossed our coaching staff has come up with something that works. Hopeful more than confident.

I think with their current form, should be enough to finally break the bogey. If Port are super lucky, GWS, Geelong and Brisbane could lose, today, which would result in Port cementing a home qualifying final if they win The Showdown and all those results go their way.

Geewizz Rozee virtually marked that above his knees. The ref is clearly blind as an amoeba.

Port Adelaide’s home crowd certainly creating an effective noise of affirmation so far.

Unfortunately the players aren’t responding, Crows upset already looking more likely

Subscribed for the coach hating that is going to happen in this thread.

It’s a win win

Port win and Ken gets a new 5 year deal

Port lose and every sport fan wants to obliterate Ken
