Just great and I reckon those halfway across the bridge would have then realised what they missed. I still heard the siren though, there were a few back at Footy Park in the day where I didn't.How loud was it when Gray kicked that goal. It was crazy

Character? A team with the players we have shouldn't' have to rely on "character".
You mentality may fly in the SANFL but please when you are ready to talk with the big boys, i'm all ears.

I can pretty much handle disagreement. I love it, actually. There is no better way to learn than facing opposing views.
Moreover, I don't take myself too seriously. You should try do the same — I mean, not taking ME too seriously, of course.
Finally, I maintain what I've said. We deserve to be where we are. If we are not Top-8 material, than it is better to cancel the Finals. After all, I can't suggest giving the Flag to the Crows, can I?

I don't take myself seriously, what i don't take seriously is people who can't handle any sort of criticism because it doesn't' agree with their own opinion.
Were you at the game? I was....I was on the hill and multiple people around me said we were lucky to get the win based on the way we played tonight.
I never said we should cancel the finals, i said that we don't deserve to be in the top 8 based on our performance not only tonight but also multiple other nights where we have also played pathetic football and lost.
And please don't bring up "handing the flag" to the crows to get people on your side, most intelligent people on here know better.

Take the win and try to improve.
In case you haven't noticed lots of upsets this season so anything is possible.
Obviously we have huge scope for improvement but to belittle our club for dragging themselves over the line is pretty ordinary.

Shouldn't have to rely on it, absolutely spot on.
But sure helps to have it when you need it. Think about how many close games teams like Hawthorn and Geelong have won over the last decade where, for all intents and purposes, they should have lost.
Challenge now it to back it up. And that's where we have been found wanting. We need a result against the Crows to make the statement we supporters want to see.

And arguing for OUR club for dragging themselves over the line against a mediocre team is ordinary. The team that we have, with its experience and coaching should not be relying on winning by a goal against a team whose fighting against multiple other teams to make the top 8. If you're happy to be mediocre then that's your prerogative, i'm all about ENSURING sure we are playing at our full potential week in and week out.
We have had MANY close games all year where we SHOULD have won but it has gone the other way. I will def agree with you when you say we need...nay.....we MUST get a result against the Crows. We win that and that is ONE step to showing everyone else we deserve to be in the top 8...HOWEVER one good game means nothing and performances like we had against the dees need to be rectified IMMEDIATELY if we want to make a statement as to why we deserve to be in the 8.
We miss her.
Yet somehow many of us here imagine her discerning gaze from afar.

I am pretty aware we didn't play well. We got out of a hole we digged ourselves. There is no disagreement on this.
My only point is that we are not the only team in AFL that looks like sh*t from time to time. The only consistently good squad this season is the Adelaide Crows. All others are unworthy of being in the Top-8 if we are not worthy.
So, under your criterion, AFL should cancel the Finals, since only one team qualifies. But, as I've said, I won't suggest giving the Flag to that team. I still prefer to play the Finals as scheduled, and see what comes out of it...

Nothing like reading a game day thread after the game, always good for shits and giggles.
Today sucked but today we did something we have not done in a long time and that is winning a very close game coming from behind! I would like to think this will give the lads some confidence and belief in each other. Lets hope this springs them into a new gear! Wingard will be chomping at the bit to get back out there as well....
