Hansen and Lynch having a premiership is really funny...

Never said he was good.

I don't hate Bradley.

A fewa stars are complete tosspots.

Bradley gives them a stop gap back up ruck like Splendini noted.

Essendon burned Bradley in a KPP when he's a follower.

We did the same thing to Livingston by playing him at full back before he was ready.

That is tragic, not funny.

But you are right. It is nice to see Bradley playing some good games when it looked like his career was over. Amazingly, he is playing good football - anyway, nice to see.

Yeah, Livingston always felt like the "one that got away". He was clearly a class above in the VFL, yet really could not get it together in the AFL. They should have just played him in a pocket, realised they were going to get a load of bad games out of him before they got a good one, but that he would come good eventually. Coming in as a direct replacement for the FB of the century did not really help his cause either!!

Feeling supremely confident about this game. On paper at least we have way more talent than Freo. This is probably the best team we've fielded this season. Like the ins. Very obvious that Pav and Sandilands are their keys. Beyond that they're a pretty vanilla side. Have been impressed with Hill. He's not in Yarran's class, but he's played the outside mid role brilliantly since he started. Inside work is a bit average for some reason though. So how to combat Pav and Sandilands? Reckon we should consider Russell on Pav. Russell's not that much shorter and has him covered for leg speed and endurance. Sandilands will be tricky. Being 7 foot tall he'll obviously dominate the taps. Last time we played this side at Docklands we managed to rove his taps brilliantly. Need to do the same. Kruezer's also got to hurt him around the ground as much as possible. Going to be a great challenge for our rucks. Blues by 38 points with our small forward talent having a big day out.

:)

As funny as it sounds, I don't mind Kepler Bradley.

Isn't a good tap ruck, but he's mobile and can get across the ground OK for a big bloke.

Has kicked six goals in two of his games this year.

Unfortunately for Kepler he has a bit of stigma about him after sheedy nearly ruined him. I am glad he is playing some good footy as he cops a lot of negative stuff.

I played a bit of footy with his older brother who was a handy player himself. He got reported for whacking me in a WAFL colts game in the late 90's and then about 2 years later we were playing in the same ammo's side.

Lol, Hill is much, much better than Yarran. I wouldn't be so supremely confident against a team than has dominated you for almost 10 years now.

l think you need to be aware not to take all of Parrots comments seriously, Yarran is very talented and will be very good for us, but right now Hill is a gun and would be ahead of Yarran , maybe different in 3 years time.

To date, Hill has been better and works harder, yet Yarrran was rated as having one of the highlight reels of his draft class.

If not the best.

Yarran doesn't have Hill's motor, so he might have more upside if he develops into a midfielder like the club expects.

Your last point is null and void.

Just like Richmond this year and in foreseeable future, we were a rabble with zero depth between 2002 and 2007.

Fremantle have lost their last two games to the Crows and the Saints.

A loss to Adelaide in particular isn't a good pointer.

Not denying Hill's been a better performer so far, but Yarran clearly has more raw talent. That's hardly a revelation - was known before the draft as well, but Hill was considered a safer draft choice. Yarran is a very rare talent. Delighted he's wearing the Navy Blue and starting to show glimpses of his capabilities.

:)

Who will take Sandilands when he pushes forward?

Thornton?

Don't telll PeeKay that Bradley was played out of position as a defender and ruined.

PK's Hampson for CHB bandwagon will break down. ;) :D

Preview: Carlton v Fremantle

SUMMARY
Saturday night's game looms as a hugely important fixture for both teams as they chase a berth in the top four.

The Blues' loss to North Melbourne came as a surprise to many and although their midfield of Judd, Gibbs, Simpson and Murphy monstered the Roos at the clearances, the forward misfired badly with the exception of five-goal star Eddie Betts.

This game shapes as Carlton's first serious test since a 50-point hiding at the hands of Hawthorn in round nine and coach Brett Ratten will be keen to re-establish his side's finals credentials.

Fremantle's early-season surge is showing signs of slowing, with three losses in the past five weeks. However, Freo weren't far off St Kilda at Subiaco in round 12, despite the absence of five important players and a relatively quiet game from skipper Matthew Pavlich.

Mark Harvey's men are 1-1 from two games at Etihad Stadium this season; a second victory at the ground in 2010 would consolidate their place among the top four with nine rounds to play.
