The lapses at the end of each qtr have been the difference… if we can score instead we turn this game around.

To do this we need the Daicos Brothers to push through tags/pressure and find their impact… they’ll bring others into it

His trick is to mark in front of a pack from the side and his groundwork is non existent.

His ground work is very good at this stage of his development.

Able to step around and through traffic, unlike Johnson. Who just gets pushed off the footy at the slightest touch.

I have confirmed why I don't watch live tv coverage. My wife persuaded me to watch the first half and has now switched off the TV and ordered me to go for a long walk.

A few observations. Please leave Cox on ball and in the ruck. Cameron was almost noncompetitive at the centre bounces. Maynard on ball or at least further up the ground. Why was it always a Swans player coming off our half forward line at every centre bounce with not a Pie jumper in sight? Every bloody time.
The umpiring regarding 50 m penalties has been a disgrace. Ginnivan gets no gentle warning but pinged instantly. Rowbottom a minute later gets a friendly come back a metre on the mark. It was as blatant a double standard as one could see and cost us a goal.

They have been too good but we are still within reach. The Daicos boys have to lift and our defense has to get organized.

Oh, and AJ has to tackle and chase as though he actually cares about the outcome. I felt like pushing him into contests a few times or shoving him and shouting CHASE HIM!!!

And now to the darkening streets with hope in my heart. Hang in there boys.

This is probably a fair reflection of where we are. Let’s be honest, finishing in the final 4 is some achievement based on where we are.

Lots of work to do on this list.

Would love to see Kreug subbed on at the half.
Agree. Though I would give us a better chance at the G. Playing small grounds over the years has never suited us. No matter which team. Especially the SCG.

But instead of offering him a bit more to meet his demands, we are willing to pay an average player like McStay well over the odds

How about he works hard on his deficiencies (engine, tackling, repeat efforts) and actually EARNS his spot in the team and a pay rise, rather than demanding special treatment?
