Great post. In fact so great that it has led me to retire from all Beaser and Kew hype. I have had my fun.
Good luck Bedders staying in C.
Good Luck Kew staying up. 5/6 away with Mazenod at home. Terrible draw.
I think Marcellin will stay up. I have thought all along they are an OK side.
Camberwell gone.
Caulfield to win the flag easily IMO.

Bye Beaser...it was fun whilst it lasted.

Cheers Canada.

Very good idea. Stick with Premier A.

Sense at last ...I knew you had it in you

Rissoles, Pirates to good on the weekend, Willy stayed close best they have played in C against the Pirates in the past 2 seasons. Interesting their away record this year is fantastic winning 6 of their 9 wins away.

2411, the Pirates three losses this season have all been at home. They've won all away games. My view is that the Pirates' home ground does not suit their style of play. Bigger grounds are better which augers well for them both in the finals and that they play Caulfield and Mazenod away in the weeks ahead.

Caulfield's home ground isn't that big Riss. Fairly wide but not that long.

Too strong a comment by the great Chazz. When you occasionally remove your 'fishing' hat your contributions add value.

Back to your real love the claret and stouts I guess.:)

Chazz is ok. One day he will receive a little tap on the shoulder. He will think...are you Canada. I will act like I have no idea what he's talking about. I just tapped him as a 'hi there' jesture. What's big footy?
Not sure what you are talking about Chazzalenko.

If you actually talk in riddles like that he certainly will have no idea……..

Chazz is a good fella, I just thought he was a little tough on you. However, if you don’t appreciate a little sugar then it’s the proverbial pistols at 10 paces again then.

Bedders is back on Thursday btw!!!!!

Bedders will find things a lot beasier with me gone.

Don 't know why tomorrow makes a difference, you are a joke , pot every club except Xavs. Take your own advice and stay off the C thread.

You just can't help mentioning me. Give me some double barrel action tomorrow. I'm a little nervous.

In a nice piece of synergy, the Premier C Board boasts 3 lads from Kew (Hurley, Maibum & Glover) and 3 from Ormond (Gogis, Maxwell & Landman) in the 33 man squad for the U19s rep game. In sharp contrast to the Premier A Board, that has no players from Xavs and St Kevins.

It's not rare to see lack of Xavs players in 19's. They look for senior players. Not many would be lucky to see one Xavs player under 19 in their best 22.

SKOB unsure. Would be interesting but they have most of their talent plus 22. Jack Holden would be the only one but might have played too much at VFL???

Spot on. Rare for rep players to be drawn from the U19 comp and the preference, quite rightly is to select kids who are playing seniors. Xavs rarely, if ever play U19s in the seniors so they tend to get overlooked.

Probably too late for a call up but an U19 kid, Mick Griechen, made his senior debut for De La on the weekend against Blacks and really impressed. Another U19 (Andy Walker) played his 2nd or 3rd senior game and likewise looks a player. Both seem to have escaped the selectors eye it seems. Josh Tyquin, who has been playing seniors for 2 years, rightly selected and my smoky for skipper.

Andy Walker would be as good as any player in that 19's team. Unfortunately for him hasn't played enough senior footy.

Michael Caven would have to be stiff captain as bottom year player.

But congrats to all.

I know this is a C grade thread so apologies but this has to be said - If Mick Caven is eligible then it is extraordinary he was not selected. Has played 2 years of 'A' grade seniors. He must be unavailable.

Walker has a twin who goes alright. Playing as an overage in the TAC cup and some consider him a bit of a smokey for a rookie draft selection.
