Berry laid some strong tackles but really needs to improve his disposal come the season proper in my opinion. Still makes way too many poor skill errors. Benefit of the doubt being a pre season match though. Love his endeavour.

Praying Cockatoo stays fit this year. Looks in terrific shape and will add heaps to our side.

So disappointing about Kiddy. Was looking great off half back again. If he is out though play Madden. His pace is dangerous.

Answerth been brilliant. Such a competitive player. Very happy he is fit and back in the team!

Better quarter. Evened up the contest, won our fair share of the ball and got it forward a bit more. Off the back of that the defensive running was better and we locked the ball in more controlling field position.

He’s played really well otherwise. Presented hard up the ground, linked up well and is throwing his rig around. Looks set for a big season.

Yeah tbh his shots at goal looked like that of a bloke trying to do everything right but feels pressure to score. If he keeps this effort up he'll have another strong year.

Kiddy just looked superb before the injury. He’s pacey but composed. Deceptively good in the air. Absolute ripper.

No Wilmot / Kiddy round 1 so madden gets his shot.

Anyone know if Darcy right for round 1?

Cockatoo looks faster.

Berry making a difference too. We look a bit harder to just waltz away from in centre clearance. And Rayner to come back.

But share a bit of concern re Fort. Looks like he lost his gym card.

He has had what, 4 shots at goal. If that bloke is getting 6-8 shots a game he is going to kick 2-4 goals and is doing his job. He is adding a bit around the ground too, hitting the ball up field and bringing it to ground.

Great to have Answerth back. His attack on the ball and judgement has been great. Cockatoo looks yards ahead of last year. We will be a better side in 22!
