Good contest so far. Could do with a lift from a few guys in the midfield and need to address how easily Dogs are able to rebound it from our forward line. Have held up well with defence when they have gone inside 50 but some more pressure up the field goes a long way.

Fullarton replacing Gardiner. So looks like defense is where he will be in 2022
Answerth again starting on wing. Berry the other starting wing
McCluggage starting midfield in place of Zorko but will go back to wing season propper
Dev going okay for Rayner replacement
Coleman going well
Good game so far.

Need better tackling. Dogs out numbering us around the contest, winning the ball when it pops out then using the legs to run and break away.

Need to control the ball a bit better, tackle and kill the ball more and just get to work around the ball. No easy clean break away clearances for us.

Pretty lacklustre. Might be fair enough given situation in seq and a praccy game.

Mids well down. Devrob looks really good when involved but still low possessions. Second to the ball a bit?

Fort is quite mobile but almost looks a bit skinny? Not a heap of marking presence.

Hard to tell not at the ground but backline seems to be preventing a bigger score. We are a lot faster there then we used to be and it is means no easy groundballs / players cutting off leads.

Gee McStay will be important this year without hippy to start with. Pretty good these days dan. I used to think he had to go in the backline haha.

Early days but I am not a Darcy Fort fan.
