Think four of our 15 came from them kicking it out on the full too. When it comes to the Dogs its the ones that don't get called that's the most frustrating. Just throw or drop it every time they're tackled and it happens literally every Dogs game, regardless of who they're playing.

Defence looks tighter overall with that pace

Mids still a bit up and down

Fort got better the longer the game went on. He’s quite nimble for his size, just not that big a unit. Some promise.

Fullarton looks a bit more aggressive as a backman which was desperately needed in his game.

Didn’t watch the entire game but Charlie impressed me. Got a bit more involved and seemed to push up and pressure.

Cockatoo looking better. Realistically he should just continually improve with consistent game time now. Exciting.

Neale, back to best.

Really think this is our year.

Thought our down the line contest work, particularly from our talls, was not great at times. Otherwise, we looked great for a practice match.

Realistically, we just need a couple of players to improve marginally and we are as good as any team in the comp come the pointy end.

It's funny when you look at these stats and you feel like you've been watching a different game. I didn't think the disposals difference would be so great. Nor did I realise our kick to handball ratio was more than 2 to 1. That is extreme, not that I really mind. Hit outs similarly, I didn't realise we had won them by so much. And I don't think they really had a huge impact on the game.
