Pretty surprised Parfitt and Menegola are not listed, could be a late change but both would also make great subs.
Can’t argue with the rest, I’m glad that both O’Connor and Kolo aren’t in the same team. I wouldn’t be surprised if Kolo doesn’t make the final team but there could be a late change with a few under some cloud.

It’s probably been discussed earlier in the thread but after the initial shock of seeing Parfitt missing out, it makes sense against Collingwood. If I recall correctly, Magpirs are 17th for clearances and we are 1st or 2nd. It’s outside run we need more of against them. Parfitt desperately unlucky and may yet come I. Late for Kolo.

But parfits arguably our best run down defensive player in open play.

I actually like that they have rewarded zuthrie and picked him but that lineup smells late changes to me. Parfitt and menegola in particular havent been left out for basically 5 years i expect parfitt to be a late in for someone and menegola is probably the sub.

Rohan is very lucky and needs to perform.

Not convinced kolo or guthrie (cam)will be fit to play.

I like the team: the fact that some very familiar faces are missing means we're getting better.

I suppose there's a chance that either Kolo or Cam Guthrie won't get up, but we have the right replacements.

Our mids will need to run both ways, especially in order to help out in the back half if their smaller forwards get off the leash.

One two many defensive players for my liking.

really worry we might go into our shells this game and revert to defensive football.

really hope im wrong.
Not a hope in hell Seeds. There will be ebbs and flows.

I do expect the Pies will come out frantic to try to throw us off our game, then we will click in to gear.

Since he came back into the side from injury parfitts been averaging 26 touches, 13 contested possessions and 5 tackles a game.

how has he been dropped?

He will play.

Not really sure why the ducks and drakes with the naming of the side though.

Does he? Thought Scott absolutely nailed the Rohan finals bullshit on Footy Classified during the week.

Atkins is no slouch in that respect. But your point is valid. I think though, we have 3 inside kids with Sel, Atkins and Danger. None of whom could be classed as quick. I expect our wings and high half forwards to push up hard, so they’ll be around the contest.

Somewhat inflated numbers when you consider our management of first choice players, quality of opposition and injuries within games.

If there is a late change it will be Kolo.

Surely not? He has exited concussion protocols and surely he wouldn’t have been named if he had any lingering symptoms. Brisbane just ruled Marcus Adams out of their finals campaign regardless of how long it goes for due to concussion related symptoms.

This. Montagna tonight saying the only hope pies have is a fast start, data suggesting basically impossible to overcome us if we lead at the third.
Our early goals are really going to matter in snuffing out their last gasp confidence.
Go Bang Catters.

Nails what? He didnt provide a single reason bar the hammy in the prelim which only explains one game. There was nothing else but distraction from scott in that response.

im fine with rohan in the team but scott provided no valid argument to defend rohans final performances here. What argument did you think he provided that nailed it?
