Why did we trade Lewis, he's a gun in career best form?
Because he was mighty pissed Mitchell convinced him to take a reasonable pay cut in order to secure JOM, then walked out of the club for West Coast. Lewis is a few years younger than the other guys and felt pretty betrayed by the process. Didn't even return to Waverley to get his stuff, Roughy had to drop it off to him.

You still over there doing your bit for the family Big X or are you back in Melbourne

Over there Oct/Nov last year. Thoroughly enjoyed watching grandson's development.
They will come over here July/Aug. Have booked tickets and travel for Tassie game v Norf

Time to replace my 2016 membership car sticker with the 2017 one (yes I'm dragging my heels a bit). My question is, do I also remove the three-peat sticker or do I leave it on there to fade and fray for the next ten years like a Collingwood supporter?

Keep the Treepeat, it won't be challenged by any other club!
I still see quite a few around Melbourne.

In 2011 and 2012, I saw a lot of Collingwood Premiers 2010 stickers on cars, but that died out and its rare to see one these days.
They obviously tore them off!

Did Daniel Harford get the punt from SEN or did he seek opportunities elsewhere? Didn't mind him as a radio jock.

Got opportunities elsewhere - he is now at 3aw

There is a Collingwood one I have seen around my area from 2000, faded and peeling now of course. You make a good point about the three-peat, it hasn't been surpassed yet despite the Doggies winning the flag last year. Will leave it on for now :thumbsu:

Sad really, but thats the "business" of football...

Hey guys. Just a quick question, I've got some family who are going to be in Tassie during the match against the Saints and they want to head along. There aren't any seating tickets left but seems like plenty of GA standing room. They are getting a bit old so extended periods of standing time isn't the best, so just wondering if they would be able to take along a little fold up seat/stool to use in that area during the breaks. Anyone know if this is possible?

I'm surprised that you say there's no seating left. I go to one or two games every year: the crowds have been 10,000 - 12,000 and there always seem to be lots of empty seats, particularly in the eastern section.

The stadium is like a country ground - if you come in early, there are areas where you can set up a seat near the fence.

The locals are also all typical, friendly Tassie people who are always nice and helpful.

Yeah I thought it was weird too, so I checked and it looks the case. There are single seats dotted around but nothing in groups of two or more. Think it's either a lot of member allocations or purchased for resale.

Either way, thanks heaps for the help, I'll let them know to get in early.

Possibly a silly question but where would I find what days/times training is on this week? Week off so thought I might head over for a sticky beak

Apparently more effective than a car alarm. They won't steal from their own.

Hawthorn trivia:

Dermott Brereton had a 46 game, 82 goal head start on Jason Dunstall. How many games did it take Dunstall to overtake Brereton in total goals kicked?
