LOL ** Strachan never, ever again.
Well our choices are a guy who brings no leadership at all, makes terrible decisions, can't mark the ball, struggles to kick and handball or the guy who can't ruck at all and has little positive or negative influence

I reckon it will be:

Ins: N Murray, Rankine, Walker, Cook, O'Brien

Out: Smith, Dowling, Burgess, Schoenberg, Strachan

F: Cook Fogarty Rachele
HF: Rankine Walker Keays
C: Jones Dawson Sholl
HB: Michalanney N Murray Hinge
B: Keane Butts Hamill
1R: O'Brien Laird Soligo
INT: Berry Borlase Murphy Nankervis

if dowling is dropped i hope we have 0 attendance on saturday night

Its more that they can manage him better in the SANFL ie they only want him on ground for x minutes as part of his rehab. They can be more cautious. When back in the AFL side they don't have that luxury
I'm not sure they have any idea what they are doing to be honest, it's not like winning is an agenda item.
I'd take x minutes of Murray over most of the 1st side they put out on the weekend.

Ins: Murray, Taylor, Cook, Rob, Tex, Rankine
Out: Berry, McHenry, Smith, Strachan, Burgess, Murphy

Tell me any of this doesn’t make sense
Looks good to me. The only change I'd consider from there is possibly resting Rankine another week and leaving Berry in.

Well at least we'd have a ruckman that competes for 4 quarters and needs minimal chop out support and isn't tonguing it from early in the 2nd quarter of the game.

If ROB's not the answer then we MUST trade for a decent young ruck and hopefully finally draft a youngster to have developing behind them. Strachan is not the way forward.
Didn’t take a mark until fourth quarter of the sanfl game. I thought Strachan was good the time he was on the ground . Some of his taps when he got clear hands on it were good at least he mixes it up . ROBs taps are just a scramble on the floor never laces out a player with his taps .

My only worry is that Nicks gets really desperate and rushes in Rankine.... He's one of our very few precious A graders, tempting to just wait until after the bye to make sure he is 100%.

If we can do better than ROB I'm fine with it, Strachan is not that player unfortunately. He was tonguing it well before he got injured, if he hasn't got an AFL tank now he isn't ever going to. If Strachan is as good as you think why hasn't any other AFL club come after him because he'd sure as hell jump at the chance and be an easy get. I'll tell you why not, he's AFL depth at best wherever he plays.

Pressure is off.

Make the appropriate changes. I'd probably bring Dan Curtin and Toby Murray in. Drop Murphy.

We're going to play a better game next Saturday eve and I'm sure we'll make the Swans earn this one.

You should try and poach Josh Carr.

I still think if you put Brodie Grundy and a gun midfielder in this team you would be a top 8 side (at full strength).
He will be coaching powaa probably as soon as next year. Isn't going anywhere. I expect powaa to fall in a heap in the finals as usual and Kenny to be shown the door.

Reckon they might give Tex until the bye. And it gives Borlase another game up forward.

Just watched the Swans give Geelong a six goal start and a five goal beating, Swans have stars and leaders all over the park, not a passenger, not a poorly skilled player. We'll run them close, in our dreams!

Best thing for us true believers is for Swans to give us a thrashing, will make the heirachy take note how far we are off being a good side. Sorry we lured you home Dawson

I thought he was already coaching the Power...

I'm in the don't risk N Murray & Rankine to after the bye. Play the long game.

Swing the changes after 2 rubbish performances.

Ins: O’Brien, Walker, T Murray, Pedlar, Cook Curtin, Taylor
Outs: Strachan, Burgess, Murphy, McHenry, Keays, Smith, Jones

B: Laird, Butts, Hamill
HB: Michaelanny, Keane, Hinge
C: Sholl, Soligo, Nankervis
HF: Schoenberg, Fogarty, Pedlar
F: Cook, Walker, T Murray
R: O’Brien, Dawson, Rachele
I: Borlase, Taylor, Curtin, Dowling
Sub: Berry
Looks like Tex isn't ready & not worth risking... so continue using Borlase up forward & Jones gets a reprieve as a defender.

B: Laird, Butts, Hamill
HB: Michaelanny, Keane, Hinge
C: Sholl, Soligo, Nankervis
HF: Schoenberg, Fogarty, Pedlar
F: Cook, Borlase, T Murray
I: Jones, Taylor, Curtin, Dowling
Sub: Berry

Tex, N Murray & Rankine to return after the bye...
