If I have a 3 game membership can I just rock up tomorrow if I get there early?

Yes you can, there are a few seats available for general admission or up on the hill/ behind the last row on ground level.

We have stood behind the last row on ground level a couple of times, easy when you have extra mates turn up, close to bar and toilets better viewing than on the hill.

I think this is a possibility but Milera is a better footballer now and will be a much better footballer in the future. The sooner we can get 50 games into Milera, McGovern, Atkins, Lever, Hartigan, Cameron and the Crouches the better. I would like to add Knight, Gore and Doedee to the list later this season.

I would love to be proved wrong but I think that Grigg is a bit too slow to play as an outside mid in the AFL and too far down the list to play as an inside mid.

You can develop, but winning games is more important atm especially against a team like Geelong, if we were playing essendon then maybe try and build that game time.

He didn't get in the best top 7 in the last SANFL game, not sure of the game before. So my summary is based on what I've seen and how he has been rated by the Crows.
Having said that bringing CEY in as a mid role, as you suggest, makes more sense that on the HBF. The Don will decide if he's earned a chance.

Wigg had 25 possies with CEY and Grigg 24 possies being the leading possy winners, not suprising CEY got BOG 24 possesions and two goals

Yeah he was, probably the best game he's played in ages.

CEY and Grigg not in BPs on AFC...suggests what they think?

CEY was pretty dominant.
Thought he was much better than last time I saw him. Agree with comments that he was BOG.

Grigg had an almost game. Got a fair bit of it, but just kept missing targets - most notably kicking 2 behinds, both to the left hand side. He did have one particularly nice piece of play, where he sold the candy to a North Adelaide defender, then delivered a pinpoint pass into the F50. The pass was marked by CEY (I think), who kicked the goal.

Thought Dear had an "almost" game as well. He presented really well, just hand a VB-like case of the fumbles every time he touched the ball. Could have been BOG if he'd been clean. He wasn't.. and won't trouble the B&F vote counters as a result.

VB was easily the cleanest and most composed player on the ground. In a game that was congested and messy, with both teams turning the ball over constantly (not helped by the weather conditions), VB always managed to find time and space and almost always hit his target. He didn't have a mountain of possessions, but when he did get it, he was a class above the other players on the field. My guess is that he spent a lot of time on the bench, being time managed in case he's required for the Geelong game (5-day turnaround).

I really like the look of Carey. I really wish he was on our AFL list, particularly given all the injuries we currently have to our defenders.

Menzel & Gore were probably the most disappointing of the AFL listed players. Of the 3 SANFL games I've seen on 7Mate, this was easily their worst performances. Never got near it.

Agreed .....those calling for Menzels inclusion in the AFL side are just hoping ......certainly not based on performances

Gees a class above with 6 kicks and 4 handballs. A huge sample size there.

Far out you sprout some crap.

Wow Grigg must have been outstanding not one mention of dead man walking contract! Has put together 3 good games.

Thoughts on Greenwood? I missed this game.

It probably had a bit to do with being pretty fresh but when the game was there to be won he probably was our best along with Greenwood, Lyons and Cam.

Thought the topups Leigh and Heffernan were very good also.

If he can be seen as BOG but AFC dont see much in him as one of the heading possesion getters and two goals, I would suggest cut him now, is he the next John Butcher leave him on the list and dont play him, even when a spot opens up, he will acheive more thsi year for us than Milera, Milera is a longer term prospect and brought in against the carltons and Essendons?

CEY to Hawks for their rd 1 pick...

I can't comment about Grigg's previous games. The commentators did repeatedly state that he was BOG last week. That game wasn't shown on 7Mate, so I haven't seen it.

I really like Greenwood. Thought he played well and would have been one of our best players for the entire game. He kicked 2 goals in the first quarter and had a shot (missed) after the final siren. Contributed well in between - a lot bigger contribution than many of the senior listed players.

Apart from a couple of key involvements late in the game he looked no better than most other AFL listed player out there. I thought Lyons stood out by getting the ball nearly every time he was near it. Typical VB bias from the master.
