You've bought into that? Let's see how they go away from Victoria against a decent opposition, has only happened once so far and they lost.

Rd 1 - beat injury hit Hawks in a match Geelong built up as their grand final
Rd 2 - lost to the Giants who look a better outfit
Rd 3 - smashed Brisbane at home, wow.
Rd 4 - only just got over the line against the 'Dons in the worst match of the season
Rd 5 - Beat the Power here, Power looked a rabble
Rd 6 - smashed WC at home.
Fro all the talk about Geelong's weak draw etc, this match will be the big test, and am pretty sure they know it as well. If we win this week we can go on about the shittiness of their draw, but that will all ring a bit hollow if they beat us on our home turf.

After last week's f*ck up, this is now a must, must win if we want top 4.

Reckon top 4 is already out of reach with our draw. Looking at 5-6 now.

Not so sure. From here on most of our games against top six clubs are at home. To date, most of them have been away and we've lost all three of them by 15 points or less. Lose this week and we're not making top four though - simple as that.

Hey guys there is a rumor floating around that Walker has a very serious foot injury which has the potential to force him out of the game indefinitely or even possibly into retirement ala Matthew Egan if it gets worse, whats the word on your side of the border as I think its pretty clear he is carrying something, why would they continue playing him if thats the case? Would hate to see another champion cut down too early.
Stubbed his toe. Those bastards hurt.

what the hell with posters picking Kelly as a in ,did not play last week and very doubtful if he has talent and ability for AFL anyway.
Not my pick but think they are going to pick VB along with Milera back in.
For me pity Knight not knocking down doors in SANFL asa believe he is best answer to keep Mackay out.
Its a bit difficult to play when you're injured.

Can't hack Geelong. They keep building every year just when you think they're going to fall. Good on them though. Nervous as hell about this game. I hope the Boys come out breathing fire and just be ruthless for 120mins. Huuuuuuge game this
I could hack Geelong. It may take all of the life out of the Makita though

You made me have a bad nightmare. Woke up thinking this was breaking news.
Bloody silly fellow.

The pattern seems to be of inconsistency. They have a good win followed by a poor effort.

Hopefully after last week's win over West Coast it's another poor effort week.

No VB, MacKay, Wright, Thommo and Douglas.

The New Beginning.

It won't happen overnight, but it will happen - all the failed midfield gone from the last 5 years.

Hope this new midfield starts showing something soon or we'll be looking for there removal.

You sure about that? I've had a quick look and that doesn't seem to be the case, Bulldogs have an easy draw for one.

Bulldogs have a similar draw to us. We each play Geelong twice. We play Gold Coast away, they play them at home. We play GWS at home, they play them away. We have West Coast twice, they play Collingwood twice. They have Sydney and Richmond and we have Brisbane and Carlton.

We only have 2 more away games v sides ranked above us.

Including home games there's only a total of 6 games left v sides ranked above us.

Based on last years results we can lose 6 games and still be a top 4 contender, so provided we win our games v those below and win a minimum of 3 of the 6 above us, we will be around the mark.
