I hope he got a reduction for having his remorse rated as high and for his good blokiness being rated as ripper.

Such an inspiration.

I think it's officially a Clayton's tank...the tank you have when you're
not having a tank!?

Hamstring.

Forget the injury list. They just make it up and forget players anyway.
I think they have an injury spreadsheet they fill in and send to the AFL.
It's limited to 11 lines because no-one ever thought they'd need more, and no-one knows how to unlock extra lines.
So they fill it to 11 injuries, send that to the AFL and all the rest just fall off the system. Like they don't exist.

I'm concerned for Foley's longevity in the comp at AFL level. I can see another Vendables Sheppard situation with concussion in him.

His issues are that he is super slow for a small sized player. Small build which he looks the type that would take ages to build any muscle on. Will have a small frame for his entire career.

Can only see things going one way for him.
And that's exactly what happened on the weekend. His gonna get caught and rag dolled around in his career. Pace is the main issue for him. I don't think his going make it for this reason. This won't be the first time he gets concussed.
He's taller than Shep/Hurn/Nelson and will slightly be bigger than him. I have no issue in his size. I liked what I saw in him last season but like you've mentioned, jis biggest issue is his lack of footspeed. I think he'll probably be what we want Rotham to be and be that third tall defender

Call me crazy but I reckon we might win this game. Certainly a better chance than our last few games. GWS look completely cooked. (but we do too.... 🤔)

I thought that and then watched them put Adelaide to the absolute sword.

We've historically hated the rain although with Clark and West in the team maybe we're a bit stronger in those conditions.

I think GWS still cover -38.5 as I think they'll be better in the wet, could see Toby having a big day, but not super confident.

Of all of the games prior to the MSD (our games and Norf's games) this one is the only 'danger' game that either team could win.

It's pretty unlikely though, and teams generally have a decent record in their new coach's 1st game? (plus we are rubbish).

I do think we could get within about 5 goals though, which will hopefully start a trend in the right direction.

Pretty sure top ups could only be called upon if there are players in H&S protocols, not purely through injuries.
I think the AFL has thrown us a bone there. We've called on them in other games when we still had fit players out of the team (due to team balance). The alternative is to not field 22 players and the AFLPA would probably shut the game down due to health and safety risks. It would also put the issue of reduced playing lists in the spotlight, which the AFL doesn't want.

We could also argue that a bunch of soft tissue injuries are as a result of player disruption from COVID.

OUT: Foley (dead), Ryan (moron), Duggan (dead)

IN: Shuey (Ugh), Gaff (Yuck), Hurn <---- The leaders are back errrbody, get ready for some 'intent'.

I'd say there should be no reason whatsoever for 35yr old Shannon Hurn to be playing in a 1-7 side during a full blown rebuild phase, but with Duggan also dead, i'm not sure throwing a Hough type in the mix would be so beneficial, with only really McGovern and Barrass around to support.

Naish comes into the starting 22, Nelson (if he simply HAS to keep getting games) can be the sub.

If not Nelson because of the photo's, Winder can be sub.
