Patrick Dangerfield and Ollie Henry are set to be available for selection as the Cats prepare to take on Carlton this Friday night at the MCG.

Dangerfield’s is set to return for his first game since Round Seven, having overcome a hamstring injury.

Ollie Henry will also be available, with the forward missing the trip to Sydney after being subbed out of the game against Richmond with hamstring awareness...

...After missing the clash against Sydney, Zach Tuohy (knee) and Toby Conway (hip) are both available for selection.

Who are you dropping for Bews and Clohesy? keeping in mind we already have to drop 2 to fit in OHenry and Danger.

I never said either were playing - think it's the first time I've seen Bews in blue this season

Outs: Stanley, Neale, Mullin (unlucky),

Ins: Conway, Dangerfield, Humphries

One of O. Henry or Rohan only

There's something to Mullin but he's also got a bit to go - would play him through the midfield or wing in the VFL for the remainder of the season, as he could offer not value in those types of roles long term

Surely Tuohy had to play at some level after not playing for two weeks.

Will be interesting what they do with him.

No doubt

I just don't know how to fit him into the seniors and I'd be frustrated if we dropped a youngster for him

I'd like to see something of a cap on the number of senior/veterans in the team, especially at the expense of the next generation

I have a feeling one of Carlton’s tall timbers will have a blinder, I’m tipping whoever is picked up by SDK will be that player. Can’t see us winning this time around.

For those wondering, this is Jezza's heat map last time we played Carlton - 9 of his 17 disposals gathered outside 50

We'll continue to see him roam as he's always done - if he's better at finishing inside 50 then not sure many would complain

I think we match up well against Carlton, and I think we'll win this. Unlike in previous seasons, the MCG really suits our game style this year having won 2/3 there, and only losing to the Dees by 8pts.

That kind of heat map is not what we are worried about. That shows he primarily played inside 50 and around the arc, with the occasional wander further up the ground.

His most recent heat map against the Swans is a much different story.

Dangerfield having some fun with the media, telling them he'll wait until the weekly medical update tomorrow to know if he's a chance to play this weekend 🤣
Looking at the photo, doubt Dangerfield has a poker face 😌

Jezza starting in the F50, using his athleticism to run up the ground and double back on his opponent is his meat and potatoes.

Rot set in when he started on the wing at the first centre bounce against Melbourne. Commentators were gushing about him and his Melbourne opponent, I think it was Windsor, lost him at the next stoppage and set up the Dees first goal. All down hill since then.

Against Adelaide he spent most of the first quarter starting up on the wing and working from there

Think it’s fair to say that the Neale/Hawkins/Cameron experiment hasn’t worked yet.
In:Danger, O. Henry. Conway
Out:Stanley, Neale, Clarke

I agree with your changes, though I still think Neale will be very stiff to be dropped. He’s kicked a goal in every game he’s played, and has kicked 9 goals from 5 games.

Neale is scoring, so I hope he stays
I'd prefer Clark to stay
Rest Rohan + rest Danger in forward line
Somehow play Mannagh
This game is too vital to play VFL guys without AFL level experience.

Don't ask me how to fit those players in, not my job 😜
