The midfield was a hell of a lot better than it has been in the past and started to connect with the forward line, by lowering their eyes..

This. Dow, SPS, Kennedy, Stocker finding his groove at AFL level. You're only as good as your bottom 6 and that is now lifting.
Great win Baggers and geez can we sign Dow up quick smart please.
Has a great kicking action they go straight but struggles for distance and accuracy those two kicks one from 45 where great his decision making has always been good kicking in the past has let him down.
He won’t get many opportunities so has to make the ones he gets
Dow faded in second half but I LOVED what I saw in the first half. Seems to be gained some confidence. Very excited to see what he can bring for the remainder of the year.

Just finished watching the replay after being unable to watch the game live due to a family function- thought we were done and dusted when Freo headed us early in the last but we found a way.
Dow huge in the first half - very pleasing and Walsh’s goal in the last quarter was Bettsesque

Yep that one on the wing. If he doesn't get there for the spoil Freo had the plus one forward. Flxik forward for an easy goal. Massive run to get to make a contest. It was a good 60m easily.
Levi has his shortcomings but the campaigner has a heart the size of Phar Lap.
Stocker fast becoming a favorite of mine.

But starting to turn into a decent player
Stocker might just be a career back pocket. The quintessential straight-line player. Imagine being an opposition midfielder goalside of the centre square, back to goals. Hesitate for a heartbeat and you just know that the Stockernaut is gonna run straight through you.

Levi's form has been horrible, but his last 10 minutes helped us win the game!
Tom was gassed and getting monstered in the ruck.
Thought Levi's move on the ball stopped the bleeding through clearance.
Hopefully its a turning point for him, as he does have a part to play as second ruck/lead up forward as we are light on options.

I'd love to hear some of the Dow haters now who kept banging on about trading him out. He is the reason we need to be patient with some players!! I can proudly say I've backed him since day one and believe he is going to be a very crucial part of our next flag push.
Stocker, omfg. Drafted as a mid but has picked up being a defender superbly. 5 tackles, hits hard, beautiful disposal... Just magic and so exciting.
Walsh a genuine Superstar already.
Kennedy playing with confidence. Another one who tackles hard and doesn't get pushed around. Has great hands too!

Newman hasn't had much love from tonight game but he has been solid the past two weeks.
Plowman is very, VERY important to our backline.
I could go on but I won't, I'm just stoked with the positives coming out of last week and again tonight.

Agree with you but I meant the team as a whole is starting to make thr right decisions when under pressure.
