Carlton has an opportunity to build a new culture with Stocker. Anyone that doesn't like him can fu** right off.
Stocker kicks his first goal and teammates don’t adequately celebrate with him. Next minute, external review & heads are rolling.

People will treat the man with respect or suffer the consequences.

I’ve never attended a game as cold as tonights.. i was shaking the whole time on level 2. Some sort of chill
Waverley wind could be more artic than that. It probably in top 4 or 5 games of cold games I attended. Walking to car at half time and putting a heater on seemed damn appealing but somehow stuck out the cold. I think the coldest game I went to was Collingwood v Carlton in mid 80's. Tonight reminded me how cold I felt that day. I think I had scarf over whole face that day, just to cover from any wind I could.

I think the boys are starting to believe.
Mistakes will be made but if we play them in the right positions the constancy will come.

Imagine Charlie playing forward alongside H. Opposition defender will have a nightmare.
fingers crossed our run of injuries is over and we can get some continuity into the these boys.

love the fact that there was no massive standout but that the whole team contributed.

Carn the baggers!!!!

Dow faded in second half but I LOVED what I saw in the first half. Seems to be gained some confidence. Very excited to see what he can bring for the remainder of the year.

Sam Walsh. Weiters. Do I say anything more.

Thought Plowman was very good again - two weeks in a row.

I never want to see Levi in the Carlton jumper again. Loyal servant, but that’ll do I think.

It was an ugly win but a W is a W.

Will be interested to see what we cough up next week.
Check Levi in the last quarter.
This is the exact reason he was picked , TDK was spent ,Levi dominated the ruck and took some good marks..

Fantastic effort by the boys. Played with passion and guts and that's what got us over the line.

The Old saying it may not be your game but it can be your moment rings true for all the casboult baggers. If we didn't have cas and TDK was getting soundly beaten like we were then it would be hell in the forum with everyone saying we didn't we pick cas.

Out of curiosity, was Barker our midfield coach before quitting? Just trying to figure why Kennedy Dow and SPS are getting more time in the middle.. playing favourites? Not sure, but love seeing those 3 getting backed in every week and showing plenty.

Should of purchased 2 pies to put your hands in......

So happy for Dow.

From strength to strength..
well done.
Bewilders me hearing Dow credit “upping training standards” for his improved form. Like I’m a fan. Big fan. But just get serious. They needed to be upped? Please. For your own sake. Get your endurance up to scratch and you’ll rip. this game apart.

Really good win, we looked absolutely finished and somehow found a way. Our cattle is pretty bloody good. Williams, Fisher, C.Curnow, Cunningham, Docherty and arguably Mcgovern coming in make that side even better (would add marchbank too but he may be finished unfortunately). Get the shit above them right and our future is bright!

So happy to see Bam Bam finally showing us his full capabilities. Has had an extremely rough time over the last couple of years with injuries. He is a keeper and plays the game the way it should be played. Hard, but fair.

Makes you wonder what the f*ck was going on pre Barkers exit. He exits, Power takes over Midfield and Kennedy and Dow are thrown straight into the midfield. Both play their best few games for the club and we win two games of those we most probably would have normally dropped ( yet equally horrific spectacles)

Having no emotional crazy supporter like agenda and objectively looking at it all, the last little 'post Barker' bounce prob builds more concerns than it answers, in terms of where do the drivers of change sit.

Kennedy's first game for the club for me was my first 'we are on the right track' moment, 30 odd touches, a young midfield duck to water. Does his ankle and is treated like a fringe rookie there on in. Martin 'greatest potential' going round, Dow number 3 pick, made to look and feel like a kid plucked from the wilderness, yet clearly is not after what we have seen. Yada yada yada. Yet we have seen with the removal of one non-key individual and placement into a role of another, quite transformative outcomes. How this translates coach wise I have no idea and therefore can't really comment. But it is clear to see it is a fine line between getting it right and 10 yrs more and a wasted list.

Tired of typing but things would seem to be close, yet equally as precarious. Change is needed but it needs to be considered. I personally have changed tack on a number of fronts a number of times, but I feel the last few weeks have provided more optimism than I could have thought as long as change is implemented. Sayers and the review will be interesting and knowing his modus operandi professionally I think it will garner far more results based out comes than his predecessor. What he was doing sitting on a board for 10 years doing SFA while running PWC I have no idea. Baffling. Barker removal pre review seems to be a good start. Let's hope it continues. Am getting off track but feel strangely optimistic.

don't get me wrong think he will be a great player and has tremendous talent but what was so great about this game? 13 disposals and two marks seems fairly average

It’s his attack on the ball. Did some heroic stuff by putting his body on the line. Don’t look at the numbers, look at the 1%.

He also kept Walters to a handful of touches and 1 goal.
