We got the 4 points.

Should this be the Riley OBrien cup?

Hes a ruck on the outer. WE could use him for 7 games in 25 lol

Important but need to keep it going to be able to wreak a little havoc in September and this week its the Crows.

They smashed a flat Bombers who were the biggest pretenders of 24 so far and we need to give them what for this Saturday to keep the yapping 6-9 teams at bay.

We still have glaring issues in the MF and North showed that a quick clearance and transition from D 50 can torch us.

PFD needs a bigger game this week to help and Bruhn with a game under his belt will help having blown out the cobwebs.

Rohan will be a forced concussion out so someone comes in or we keep Clohesy in and maybe 2E or Knevitt back in.

Hardie of course would be option but he's on the nose with the MC. Humphries will hit a wall at some point and will need a rest - maybe not this week but he should travel to WA for Freo game in a few weeks whether he plays there or not.

Stnaley still in the wings if we want to give Blitz a chop out. Gonna need SDK back again IMO.

Good chance to pick a 23 ...

Have at it.

The headline was more dramatic than the story! More info:

AFL star forward Tyson Stengle was rushed to hospital via ambulance in the early hours of Sunday morning after an incident at a Geelong nightclub.

7NEWS understands the 25-year-old was unresponsive and carried out of Bloom Venue by concerned friends at about 2.30am.

Stengle was taken to University Geelong Hospital in a “serious condition” where he remained for several hours.

It’s understood he is recovering well and was seen running light laps on Monday morning at Cats training.

It is unclear if he will be up for selection for Geelong’s clash with Adelaide at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday.

We know Rohan is out, though it's currently expected SDK will be ok and no real update on Dangerfield's ankle at this stage

Atkins is expected to return & seems an obvious in if he's fit

Does Tuohy return after his week off and if so, do we manage another veteran in Duncan or maybe young Humphries gets a weeks rest

And after Saturday nights situation, does Stengle play this week or does the club give him a week off?

Surely it's the Dean Gore cup

Love how Gore was part of the trade for Paddy, yet we got him back to play for our VFL side a couple of years later.

To me, that was such a positive indication about the club and players from outside the club who may be considering their futures & potential move to Geelong - Gore was an SA lad who after being delisted by Adelaide could have easily stayed around to play SANFL, but instead he opted to come back to Geelong

It's just unfortunate things didn't work out for him upon his return with the ACL injury

Must win game.

Swans travel to Adelaide to play Port.
Other than that, the other 6 in the 8 all play sides outside the top 8. Lose and we'll likely lose ground on most around us.

Not sure of the veracity of a report that the game may be shifted elsewhere, due to surface condition.
The same source who gave us plumbing drainage errors when the JS stand was built.
Surely a rumour considering logistics? IDK but don't shoot the messenger.

If it's not an exaggeration that he was found actually unconscious, then I think he would miss.
An alteration to conscious level to that extent, would not be dismissed easily even after observation.
It's not like running a hangover off, although the PR visuals might be business as usual.
Too much unknown, including time out, any mechanism of force or fall, toxic substance levels etc.

Edit EDit: Of course you guys know anyone found in that condition (unconscious) should be rolled on their side, head/neck back and down, airway kept clear, monitor breathing. 000.
Distressing for everyone.

Rohan will be out and id assume we maybe manage stengle.
Bews a likely omission too.
Clohesy needs a full game or back to the vfl.
Id assume knevitt or clark will come in. Hardie should play but wont.

The big call is whether we manage sdk with that knee and bring in stamley. This is probably the only week we can as the next 2 weeks we will need the tall timber.
