That was a good finish, but man we've got some problems.

The only good thing was that our young players drove the bus.

Apart from cameron who is the superstar mannagh dempsey humphries neale and even henry all had crucial moments in the last quarter.

A few of the old guys are cooked though so we will need to be brave at selection to go anywhere in finals.

The inquest should kick off by asking why we can't have a fair dinkum crack from the first bounce.
I have question marks over the effort but also there was too often a skill issue. We're out of sorts too often this year. But at least this time we didn't end up having a costly loss. Need a big response next week.

Hear, hear - young blokes leading from the front and doing it well when the chips were down.

A few things:
The club needs to ask the question to the AFL regarding the treatment of Cameron. The umpiring for him is atrocious and a clear outlier compared to other key forwards. It's not a random statistical anomaly; directly in front of goal, arms chopped and nothing. Adelaide go back up for a 2-goal turnaround in what was the turning point of the game. We should be mature enough to not let the capitulation that happened ensue, but that was not a major umpiring error relating to Cameron made in isolation.

Second, we are an average side this year. Fremantle will smash us next week and likely so will St. Kilda. If we limp into finals, we're not hurting anyone. Keep in mind, this Adelaide side was demolished at home by Hawthorn.

Not the win you deserve, you absolute pretenders

Said it for a long time, but we can't handball, or tackle, for ****.

Our handballs are wide, low, slow, and loopy, and the ease with which our tackles are thrown off is ridiculous.

Keep in mind we flogged the hawks a few weeks ago. When we are good- we are good.
