Not sure , but won’t play for rest of season.Anyone know what the Ed Curnow injury was and how bad?
haha ...achilles
wow - you're amazing!
Ahead of their rebuild really? They got their current coach after we got Bolton. The thread you quote is one opinion. Anyway agree to disagree.
Never said we were ahead of the Lions of last year, said we are ahead of their rebuild, but nice melt

Oh the R word. Its now of historical interest only.www.bigfooty.com
Unfortunately I wasn’t capable of a comment as witty as this one. I was a little more basic with references to the pea shaped size of his heart and being a mummy’s boy.Did it include “I thought you normally don’t play the last month of the season”
Therein sums up the problem at Carlton for the past 19 years.Break it down for everyone:
Shocking conditions.
Cats had the wind for two consecutive quarters.
Players switched off early.
Crap ground to play AFL.
Watch closely most players were laughing throughout the game even ED when he was on the bench with an injury.
No point injuring themselves badly.
Big preseason and trade period and no reason why we can’t make top 8.
Simples.
Hey Tony Lynn 15 ... how is that bulls**t thread you started earlier this year going???
Had some solid games but I reckon it’s been going past him for most of the season. Daisy would be a better bet for next season imo.The Kade that turned up today looked cooked.
Has he re-signed yet?
i didnt say we were after all of those players. we were definitely after mids last year shiel the obvious one. but in general we havent attracted many elites yet...docherty was a great get and judd before him but cant think of any others since judd? You are making assumptions we targeted all those players you mentioned
Players and their managers aren't stupid, our rebuild is ahead of where the Lions were, we will improve again next year to at least being a mid table side, without attracting elite talent
You’re in another universe. A couple of kids learning how to play at the highest level. Conditional is such a nasty inference for any player and certainly not deserving of these two.Games where dow doesn't run hard enough defensively, games where Fisher refuses to get his hands dirty etc. Dow was dropped and looked a bit better in his return, Fisher wasn't and didn't improve.
Kick up the ass, or for the modern person who can't take criticsm, need to work on their deficiencies over simmer

who watches soccer anywayThat is his older brother, we passed on him!
It’s always an interesting one talking about when a rebuild starts because teams are always rebuilding. From this weekends sides I think we have brought in 15 new players over the last four years. Brisbane have brought in 15 and even Geelong 14.Ummm rebuild doesn't start when you change coaches, would be like suggesting our rebuild started when Teague took over.
You are firing blanks
Oh no, don't do an autopsy on an autopsy thread.Geez we’ve got some negative nancy’s dancing on the grave on what was the Carlton’s 2019. Simmo cooked! I just shakes me head.
Don't know what to make of this. Richmond got done at Geelong in 2017 and then won by 10 goals against them about 4 weeks later in final then won cup.
Well that was a real footy experience today.
The cold front edged over the ground at quarter time and then it rained for a couple of quarters. It stopped for the last quarter but by that stage we were drenched and the wind chill factor of zero (slight exaggeration) meant shivering for the last quarter. Daisy’s send off took forever (well it felt like it) and by that stage I was concerned that my son was developing a case of hypothermia. I took remedial action after the game by purchasing a couple of coffees and a doughnut for each of us. This led to much mirth where we forgot about the match and the cold. This allowed us some time, during the walk back to the car, to contemplate the mistake we made of going to the footy at Sleepy Hollow.
