Robbo over Prior is fine considering reports that Prior had a quiet return to VFL last week

Robbo has had an up/down 2022.
But his last two games v Tigers were okay so hopefully he gets similar stats
2021 round 18, Loss @ Metricon... - 26 disposals, 8 marks, 3 tackles
2021 round 10, Win. @ The Gabba - 22 disposals, 6 marks, 3 tackles

The reason the Hawks were dominant on the MCG during their recent era was that they had such precise searing kickers . Especially out of their back half. Having Kiddy back is important for us in this match.

It's more important than having elite runners . But you don't want slow coaches either so maybe this Sunday will answer a few questions if the Tigers turn up in good form

We've got Richmond covered at both ends of the ground, if we win the contest in the middle it'll go a long way towards winning the game. Not saying it's my best 22 that's been selected but I don't think it's as detrimental as some are making out.

Agree .Lyons and Robbo aren't that much different or worse than Prior or Dev right now imo ,except to say I would always have Prior in where possible because he has more upside and is just as hard at it.

I wouldn't take much notice of his reserves form. People here were saying Ah Chee didn't deserve to get back in because his one reserves game wasn't that good. He was probably just as cheesed off as a lot of the supporters.

Prior did nothing to beat the door down of AFL level. Wouldn't be surprised if they want him to get to his high level VFL form before bringing him back in, especially in an important game. Robbo hangs on by the skin of his teeth.

Suspect Lyons is one bad game away from giving Robertson his spot.

Didn't watch all of the reserves game so can't comment, but I would say that Prior was bloody good as the sub against the dogs prior to injury, and Robbo hardly convincingly holding onto his spot.

Agree, Prior has earnt that spot IMO, Robbo has his chance to put his hand up for a finals spot, it’s the sort of game he can impact.

Richmond ranked 2nd for center clearances Lions equal 3rd but only one separating them. Totals 241 to 240
However Lions ranked 6th for stoppage clearances to Richmond 18th. Totals 468 to 353

Current Squiggle - Richmond 86 - 87 Brisbane Lions (with a +10.6 to the Tigers for home ground advantage).

Will be interesting to see if it changes after team selection.

Conversely I wonder how many of our posters would be taking a holiday after a trip to the Richmond Board after they lose at home by 1 point for yet another anti-Collingwood snatching of defeat from the jaws of victory?

and post team selection the update tip is Richmond 89 - 86 Brisbane Lions (a +4.5 pts to the Tigers based on the ins/outs)

You don't think Bolton is a superstar? Starce is a damn good player, he can play against opponent way taller but not against guys like Bolton.
No, I don't think Bolton is a "superstar"

He's a very good player who, if given latitude can impact the game.

Starcevic is also a very good player who has a track record of closing down a direct opponent.

I'm backing our guy but true to form , you are backing the other guy.

Are you even a supporter of the Lions or are you just a cynical troll?

Think Matho will be centre of attention Sunday. They wouldn't have forgotten his beast mode to Liam Baker :tearsofjoy:
