Game Day Richmond vs Adelaide @ the M.C.G(iants Stadium)

The AFL will want Richmond to win this but if we take our chances we will win this.

Our issue we have is our defence - we leak too many goals but is in part they way we take chances.

Positive is we are showing good signs for the future.

Eh, the issue is in our midfield and more in particular our pressure.

We saw the defence looked organised when that element was on in the first quarter. All at sea when our pressure dropped off.

On a positive note...

Brilliant first half by Tex.

Oddly, he kicked the freak ones and missed the ones that he should have kicked.

Probably missed the chance for a 5 goal half really.

Some may say this is an over reaction, but that shot on goal from Mackay has to be the final nail in his career coffin.
Sadly I wish my late Father who I recently lost could open a coffin again
No 14 is a reincarnated Mystery that the Greek anthropology experts are investigating so My friend from Tennant Creek told me

Will it is his 3rd game but even still, didn't do a lot wrong there.

Absolutely didn’t need to slide in like that, he was going to be first to the ball, keep your feet, take the ball and get tackled over the line. He also went up for a spoil earlier in the term when we already had 3 players going up in the contest, he missed the ball and it got out the back and his direct opponent kicked the goal. Has to be smarter.

People say Mackay is a good kick but it's a ******* myth.
The issue is the number of bombs he has done forward without even bothering to kick to a team mate.

Contrast to the likes of McHenry spotting up Tex on the lead.

Turnovers are a killer.

Darcy isn’t doing anything for the Pro Fog crowd round here.
He's so obsessed with wrestling his opponent out of the drop zone entirely he's always out of position to take the ball. Watching him live I can see his initial positioning is actually pretty good, he's just become Tex style obsessed with wrestling for position instead of watching the ball drop.

Its almost like the VFL powers to be told these umpires their careers were on the line if they didnt manufacture an avalanche of favorable calls for richmond and to hammer Adelaide today...watching this it does not look so far fetched
I for one think it is good when umpires learn in game from their mistakes

the reiwoldt free for holding the nan that lead to goal was clearly holding the ball as he dropped/threw it when 1st tackled.

my outed reviewed this decision and were sure to pin Schoenberg when tackled as soon as taking possession and the ball knocked out in the tackle, and McHenry whose never taking possession was clearly just outsmarting himself and worse than the riewoldt drop

🤷‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️
