I’ve got 4 minutes to go, still don’t get the coleman-jones free kick, I’m just saying, it could have been a lot worse, we’ve seen a lot worse lol
all pisstakes aside, it seemed to come in a rush right at the death, prior to that apart from the usual occasional BS calls, I didnt notice it

Its match simulation, not even a practice match and the only thing the "Toiga Army" can glean from the simulation is anti-Toiga umpring.

Keep it classy Richmond.
Speaking of classy, nice to see you named yourself after a couple of jail birds. 👍

Positives.
Taranto- elite. His work at stoppages into offensive spread is going to be pretty exciting to watch. His tackling is ferocious aswell. Should have had 4 goals. Hit the post twice.

Hopper- silky and composed. Created three chances through class. Huge pick up and is going to be icing on the cake.

Prestia- everywhere. Looked as free as I’ve seen him in a pre season game ever. Was all over the ground and slotted a beauty from the boundary. So smart around stoppages.

Judson Clarke- gut runner. His running availing was on show today and showed his creativity with hand or foot. He’s going to be pushing himself into the best 22.

Nankervis- standard bank game. I’ve been one in the past to wonder whether big Nank might just be a step off. But to me today he showed once again why he’s one of the clubs most important players. His aggression was outstanding. He physically imposed himself time after time (yes gave away a couple of free kicks) and had kangaroo mids rushing handballs to play hot potato. He gets back and helps the defence so often and it’s invaluable to that team.

Dusty- don’t have a lot to say apart from he was a Ferrari in 2nd gear today and still kicked two of the better goals of the game.

Negatives
Transition defence- opened up a few times off half forwrd and kangas showed that they will improve their ball movement. Grimes, vlastuin, Rioli and balta all fairly quiet but not bad.

Free kicks- undisciplined tackles and clumsy mistakes is just standard ingredient for some of our players. Mansell and nankervis are highly aggressive players but at times make silly mistakes.

Overall was a bit scrappy due to the wind. But some massive positives and no injuries from what I saw.

North board is that way buckaroo <<<<

If you want to add to the discussion feel free to stick around but if you are just after some cheap lols and not even offering a half decent troll attempt I suggest you post somewhere else

I know it's just a practice game but some of the vision was a little worrying. There were times where there would be 3 or 4 North guys around the footy and only McIntosh and Taranto were in the TV screen.

We didn't seem to be pressuring around the contest and we weren't getting many numbers around the footy.

At our peak you used to see so many Richmond jumpers on the TV screen, and adding just Taranto and Hopper still may not be enough to address our midfield woes.

Maybe you add in Graham, plus Bolton so Dusty and Cotchin push a bit higher, and we'll see.

Just finished the fourth period. I’ve seen enough to know we’ll be fine.

Dusty looks like he could be back to his best.

Hopper and Taranto look like they’ll be worth the price we paid for them.

Prestia was good, I just hope he can stay fit this year.

Cotch looked good in the forward 50.

Can’t wait to see what we’ll look like when we get Lynch, Shai, Broad and Pickett back.

After that, what is the current opinions of Short in the midfield. Last year I thought he was a liability. The coaching staff seem determined to keep him there. Thoughts after this morning? Any positives? Improvement?
I don't normally bag any of our players and I like Short off half back but IMO he looked very lost in the middle - no physical impact and a number of turnovers sadly.
It's a no from me.
