Devastated but happier than the last two weeks. We ran it out to the end. Again, lack of experience, lack of composure.. Swans pulling shit free kicks out their ass.

And Zerk is a dumb footballer.. but he is joined by many others.

The real "swans moment" is the free kick for 'lack of intent' when flip was clearly trying to knock it out to the two free bombers players wide of the contest. Or perhaps the lack of HTB and inability to spot a throw.. I guess there were plenty to choose from.

That is the season over but clearly this group has some pride.

Get the feeling it could have been won had it not have been for Zerk's nuffie play on.

Wright dropped two absolute sitters as well, not even touched by a defender, but anyways, the swans always looked more well drilled for most of the game. We did well to stay in the game.

Merrett immense. Heppell turned back the clock. Hobbs and Caldwell were good. Langfors very good. Perkins was in and out but did some nice things, as did Parish and Martin.
Hind tries hisbguts out but doesn't hurt the opposition. Wright worked hard but needed to hold on to a few more.
Probably the best game I've seen Bryan play for us

Back 6 was exposed too often and we let them get a lot of cheapies. Redmond and McGrath were well down and Lav and BZT looked lost quite often.

We should be looking to get some games into some kids in the next 4 weeks. It could could come at the expense of guys like Snelling and Guelfi and give us an indication of what we've got.
