Thats 10 goals. And the rest?
Well, yeah, that's the problem isn't it?
I think 11.15 (or more) would be enough to win, so we'll need goals from any of Fogarty/Thilthorpe/Murphy + one or more of the mids.
Chaos ball isnt in our DNA yet , we will try and pick it up and get tackled or miskick it or a sloppy handball.
If I'm coach I would get tapes of Bulldogs games and instruct us to move the ball on in any manner possible, soccer , punch, slap etc - only try and pick it up if clear
Chaos-ball is default footy in wet/slippery conditions.
If they don't know what to do in the wet by now, they'll never know.
All of our talls should be bringing the ball to ground for the smalls to mop up and goal opportunistically, especially from behind packs where the ball will slip through off-hands.
Willyweather is predicting winds around 15km/hr from the West with a "medium" chance of showers from 5 - 9p.m.
Thinking of miskicks - Keays could kick 5.0 today
:laughv1:
... or 0.5 if he has time? :sneaky:

We're not bad but we are better against top 4 sides than those around us. As seen by our 2-7 record against teams +/- 1 win on us including several pretty dismal showings.
Sydney are in red hot form too

Sydney haven’t beaten any top 4 side at all this year.

Their last 5 games -

Defeated Suns by 24
Defeated GWS by 11
Defeated Essendon by 2
Defeated Dockers by 29
Defeated Bulldogs by 2

Yeh, at home I reckon we will get it done. And Swans aren’t accustomed to night, dewy conditions either.

Crows by 25

We've lost to all of those sides this year except Fremantle

It all comes down to this.

Do the 2023 Crows remain a non-finals ugly duckling? Or do we emerge as a beautiful finals swan?

Our home performances have been good. Our games against top four teams have been impressive. We've promised plenty this season and threatened to emerge from our five-year finals hiatus.

But eventually it comes down to winning a crunch game against a team who will be equally desperate.

We certainly haven't left any experience in the shed.

In the words of Phil Walsh:

"Just get the job done."
That’s elite

We will win. Don't care by how much, but 30 points would be good to protect our % advantage.

On SM-A115F using BigFooty.com mobile app

Why would we need to protect our % advantage?

For sides without a draw we have +272, Bulldogs +135, Saints +107, Essendon -16 and GWS -25.

Our % will cover all these sides if we all end up with 12-11.

Blues getting jumped in the first qtr by the Suns, not watching or listening to it but don't they want a home final?
