Yeah goes alright. The dogs ain’t gonna be pushovers. We will need to play with passion , spark , mongrel and daring for four quarters. Go Blues .

Looks, too me anyway, that JJ and Libba have got their mojo working again.

They still set up their game off the back flank, and they’ve got plenty of silky skilled players out there.

By the same token, we match up reasonably well against them.

Krooz will make a huge difference to our set up.

Out - Cas, Lobbe, LOB, Setterfield

In - Krooz, Kennedy, Lang/Cuningham/Stocker.

Fix that bloody forward line MC.
100% agree MC need to address their selections in forward line.
Disagree brining in a ruckman and three players who are not forwards is going to help that?

Which one of Kennedy, Lang, Cunningham and stocker do you plan on helping with leading patterns and forward nous. Maybe Cunningham, who is injured, otherwise none of the above?

I like the idea of JSOS in a tagging role but at the same time I think we've got too many players playing unfamiliar roles already.

Would like to see something like this:

IN: Silvagni, Kruezer, Garlett, Stocker
OUT: Setterfield, Lobbe, Casboult, Gibbons

Stocker to go to half back and Garlett to play up forward in place of Gibbons - just think his time in defence might improve his pressure efforts up forward but who knows

Bottom line is Casboult is a hinderance in that forward 50.

0 goals, 0 tackles......for his 10 hit outs and one contested mark, H can play higher, and McG can play out of the square, with Charlie wide.

Worked in the 2nd quarter.

As for the smaller forwards, when the ball hits the deck, keep the bloody pill inside 50, don’t let it simply ping back out of there.

B : Plowman - Weitering- Simpson
HB : Marchbank - Jones - Newman

These Back 6 are stable and not letting us get blown out of the water (coughing up 100+ pts every week)
Thomas can rotate through here if need be, as can JSOS on a lockdown job.

Can see Schumacher learning heaps from Simmos/Newmans roles and debuting soon, either B or HB.

C : SPS - Kennedy - Walsh
Getting Kennedy back in provides the GRUNT back in the middle. SPS and Walshy will compete all day/chase/ tackle/ make space/etc......
These 3 will help reduce the pin-point attacks into our back half by the Doggies, as well as want to make the Doggies chase them as well.

HF : Curnow - McGovern - Stocker
F : Thomas - McKay - Garlett

A little bit left-field here, but let Charlie push up the wing from here and run his opponent ragged. Provides aerial support to SPS as his crumber, and less pressure on him being a main forward target (till his confidence returns). Unleash Stocker for the crowds to appreciate, as the Doggies haven't really seen him yet (and we really need something positive to see TBH). Daisy can cause havoc up forward with Garlett in his more preferred position. Bpoth will chase and tackle and have Doggie backmen rushing their clearances.

O/B : Kruezer - Cripps - Dow
Hoping Kreuz is playing as we so need him back and firing. Cripps will benefit from Kennedy being back and lets give Dow another chance to make amends. He knows his delivery has to improve, so let him redeem himself. No point him being castrated and thrown to the NBs for eternity. If he's the real deal, let him show that he aint taking a backward step.

I/C : Gibbons - JSOS - Fisher - Murphy
Gibbons to provide some midfield chop-out but NOT to spend time forward!! He's not a natural forwards.
Fisher and Murph can go midfield and forward, provide a bit of zip and composure respectively.

Might even catch the Bulldogs off-guard with some of these positional changes and inclusions.

Out: Lobbe, Casboult, Setterfield, Gibbons, OBrien.

In: Kennedy, JSOS, Cuningham, Stocker, Kruezer.

B. Plowman Jones Thomas
HB. Newman Weitering Marchbank.
C. Walsh Cripps Murphy
HF. Fisher Curnow Cuningham
F. McGovern McKay Curnow
R. Kruezer Dow SPS
I. Stocker Simpson JSOS Kennedy

A much more balanced side. More dangerous up forward. Solid defence with stocker as the spare whilst Simmo can role through the midfield and defence. JSOS switching between midfield and forward when McKay goes into the ruck. Kennedy to help on the inside. Good side
