what about when meatball's entire arm was being held as he's running out of the centre square for about 5 seconds straight and they never called the holding free. wish I could remember what time it happened to gif it. Ump right there. Meatball also gets reamed with htb calls

We've only really been seriously beaten in one game all year and we've struggled to get our best 22 on the park all year. Need Lynch and Prestia on the park and the return of Dusty will be a big plus.
Agree he wasn't great but nothing wrong with a first year player who has played the majority of the year looking cooked this deep into the season. I'd be tempted to just give him a week off to try and freshen him up and he's shown more than enough for a first year tall.
That being said I do not like the mix down back if its Balta, Miller and Tarrant as the talls. Plenty of height but think that exposes us to the quick mid and small sized forwards getting hold of us (players like Gunston and Breust in particular).
I'm not sure there's a spot anymore for Stack, irrespective of VFL form. He gets exposed for height and composure one on one close to goal and plays his best footy rebounding, which I would argue isn't as good as having Baker/Short/Rioli in the same position.

It's a two way street. George has been out of form for years. Why wasn't he made to go back and work on HIS deficiencies? I'd play a bloke who is a natural footy talent that needs to tighten up defensively over a bloke that struggles to tie his bootlaces every single day of the week. That's the disappointing aspect. If you don't fit the MC's outdated mould you're not given a shot.

I posted in a previous thread about George. He’d be the best small forward in the game if his conversion rate was reliable. He has so many great traits but just cannot execute basic skills, handballing included. I like him a lot as a player but his skills aren't up to it. He should play VFL until they get to at least an acceptable level imo

Kmac has played in defence. 2015 or 2016 I think it was, plus he got sent back to the VFL one year to work on his backline skills so I don't mind him Kmac filling in for another week. Otherwise Biggy too raw and Stack/Mansell out of favour and maybe too small.
I want to see Stack in the AFL, but I can see Dimma putting Hugo on Kmac's wing

George goes back to the VFL and in his first game back.....goal kicking is as bad as ever. Yep, his kicking, specifically his goal kicking should have been rectified years ago. He’d be an awesome player if he could kick reliably

I agree too. I reckon the other one though when he pushed it through from too far out - I don't think he'll make that mistake again
