Try watching football.Memo to Ginnivan:
You’re a small forward, so your job is in this order
1. Chase, harass, tackle and annoy the opposition to try to cause turnovers
2. Link up with other Hawks, giving the ball to a teammate in a better position than you
3. Kick the odd goal
Try to wash the Collingwood stink out - it may take some time …

I’m with you. Pretty no much no chance of landing English but if we were half a chance, you would go all out and not give it a second thought. Reeves adds nothing up forward, down back or when the ball hits the ground. Why are some people against making a big offer for Tim English? He's clearly a far better player than Reeves and would improve us a lot.
Goldstein had 1 mark too.Another 1 mark Reeves game. It's not his fault, but I hope we have a proper plan to replace him

Feel like Mackenzie drifts through games. Not much intensity in anything he does
Mitch Lewis kept Mitch Lewis to 1 goal.Really wish we had landed mckay, he kept mitch lewis to 1 goal.
We are comparing a bloke that is going to be amazing to Toddy? WowGoldstein had 1 mark too.

You wanted to play the game of saying Reeves had just 1 mark....which is exactly the same as his opponent. We are comparing a bloke that is going to be amazing to Toddy? Wow

If you were at the game you’d see he was one of the few in our forward half who was running and chasing and trying to lock that ball in. The “Collingwood stink” which happens to include a premiership medallion is the least of our concerns.Memo to Ginnivan:

I wish I could be that optimistic but I don’t think it’s just a case of kicking straight. Goldstein’s domination with the centre hit outs showed we don’t have much of a clue when Ned doesn’t win the initial tap. The amount of times Essendon seemingly waltzed through the back of the circle was insane, it was like Moses parting the Red Sea, just waltz on through.I think people have forgotten last year's game. We were blown out the park and never had a chance of winning that.
This game, we were beaten by ourselves. Nevermind how ordinary our midfield was in the second half, we lost it by kicking 17 behinds. Kick just 4 of those and we win. Even just 3 early on and put some scoreboard pressure and it changes things.
Good point re Worps.
Based on today's showing you'd be a crazy optimist to assume that Ward, Frenchie, etc are overtaking him anytime soon.
He's a bull at the contest and that's a valuable commodity to have given how important clearances are these days.

They walked it out of there the whole last quarter. There's no denying this.I wish I could be that optimistic but I don’t think it’s just a case of kicking straight. Must be a major focus during the week. Nash and Newk having poor games didn’t help in that respect. Unless Nash is throwing his weight around, using his size to our advantage, he can be a liability.
Huh, a young Scum outfit, we cannot trot that crap out, we had a younger midfield and we were thumped. When our midfield does get on top, we’ll be dangerous. But they were comprehensively beaten by a young Essendon unit today, both at winning the ball and defending in transition. Not sure what the answer is.
A Davo23 special. I think he must be a meme poster at this point, a veteran of the board that is just trolling everyone.
No Ned beat him. He's amazing and don't argue itGoldstein was made to look awesome today by our midfielders not being defensive enough and having no one blocking the oppo player running through us. We got opened up like (insert metaphor here) so often because we were too focussed on getting it forward
