Scotty Burns said Pedlar played 3 quarters....3.30 of his presser?
Ok... I haven't watched & was just going by comments as gathered he came off early with a head knock.

Seedsman in the middle in the trial game. The sooner you realise the reality that we run an aged based philosophy the better.
May have taken Milera's inside time after his injury.

B: McPherson, Butts, Worrell
HB: Smith McAsey, Hamill
C: Berry, Crouch, Sholl
HF: Lynch, Walker, Sloane
F: Rowe, Himmelberg, McAdam
R: O'Brien, Keays, Laird
I: Brown, Schoenberg, McHenry,Thilthorpe

At this stage both Fogarty & Jones need to find form. Prefer to play Thilthorpe & Berry. Pity Pedlar missed most of today's game.

Picked Himmelberg over Frampton based on last year, but EH needs a good hitout next week.
Then maybe you shouldn’t pick Walker on last years form

Big overreaction, but feels like team should be something like this:

Brown Butts McPherson
Smith Kelly Hinge
Sholl Crouch McHenry
Lynch Tex McAdam
Rowe Frampton Murphy
O'Brien Laird Keays
IC: Sloane, Schoenberg, Berry, Thilthorpe

Keep McAsey, Jones, Hately, Fogarty and Himmelberg in 2s until earn a spot.

Probably not no, but if we do he needs to be rested after a month. He looks fresh at the moment and is moving well.

Keep him that way and he's an asset.

FF: Rowe, Fogarty, McAdam
HF: Walker, Himmelberg, Sloane
C: McHenry, Crouch, Lynch
HB: Smith, McAsey, Sholl
FB: Doedee, Butts, Brown

1st R: O'Brien, Laird, Keays
Int: Schoenberg, Berry, McPherson, Hately

Em: Jones, Worrell, Pedlar

Inj: Talia, Milera

Personally, I'm starting Himmelburg over Frampton, but that's a coin flip. I'd like to get Thilthorpe out there, but let's not throw him to the wolves straight away.

Fogarty gets a run at it. We need to know.

I've put Berry in there over Jones, and rewarded McHenry for his endeavour. It looks thin without Talia and Milera.

I just can't see how we can pick Berg unless he steps it up next weekend.

Hey guys, fantasy question here.

Just wondering if the Crows have any draftees from either 2020, or the last couple years who are doing well in the intra-club games/scratch match from this week. Would you expect them to be best 22?

Thanks in advance.

Sholl is a lock, Rowe is also.

Berry, Pedlar, Thilthorpe, Schoenberg, Sholl

It just appears that people are looking at reasons to not pick Frampton
Frampton played 3 games for Powaa across 5 seasons. He played 5 games for us last year averaging 8 disposals and 1 goal. So over 6 seasons he has managed to played 8 AFL games for the grand total of 9 goals. That's 1.5 goals per season on average and we are resting our forward hopes on this. FMD.

We aren't rest our hopes on the guy, stop making sh!t up.

He's performed well thus far this year, Berg has not

Who said anything about resting our hopes, if we don’t acknowledge form then whats the use

Berry is looking more and more likely. If so I’ll be picking him purely based on the fact he will lay 10 tackles a game.
Rowe will be a handy selection as well, took plenty of marks around the ground in both trials.

We've got a thin midfield - Pedlar, Berry, et al are unlucky to miss out and Frampton could come in for Himmelberg no problem. Sloane is lucky to make the team and if Lynch has his usual slow start... Fogarty or Worrell

I'm very glad we've got an SANFL team this year

Are you playing Frampton over Thilthorpe? Someone needs to come out for him. We went through the same thing last year with Frampton for when the real stuff starts he doesn't deliver just as he hasn't delivered for the last 6 years. No point investing games into a player that will not have a long term career at the club. The best options up forward are Thilthorpe, Himmelberg and Walker(at this stage). A better option which I know the club won't try is Thilthorpe, Himmelberg (as your key KPF's) and Worrell off half forward. He is a forward. Those lineups may not occur earlier in the season but I know they will finish that way if they are serious about winning games. Fogarty is the major concern. If he can't win the spot from an aging Walker (who is likely in his final year) his career shouldn't be continuing with us.

In regards to Himmelberg his 2nd half of the year against teams in season who were trying to win (as opposed to mickey mouse preseason games) was outstanding and he was clearly our best tall forward. To neglect that form for a player that has played 8 games in 6 years and is a preseason specialist is embarrassing. The future of our forward line is Thilthorpe, Himmelberg and Worrell. The club should move on Fogarty, Walker and Frampton as quick as possible.

Unfortunately our club has a knack for trying to reinvent the wheel instead of making decisions based on what the evidence suggests. The weekend was a prime example. Worrell, Pedlar, Thilthorpe, Berry all neglected at selection after being some of the best performed the week before. Instead we go with Kelly, Lynch, a cooked Sloane in the middle, Seedsman in the middle, Fogarty and Frampton over Thilthorpe and Himmelberg. The same old tired formula that has proven to fail. Why? Because we are a mediocre club.
