Faaaaaark this loser organisation. My mum died suddenly this week. Nothing is more fitting than these pack of losers doing what they do best right when it hurts the most. I hate this club.

There is 1 thing more certain in life than death and taxes, and that is St.Kilda FC being the worst organisation in all of sporting history.

It's torture barracking for these bums. 3 generations wasted. Get faaaaaarked. Not watching any games again this year. Wish we didn't even bother to tease. Just finish last already and save as all the time u caaaaaants.
Sorry to hear about your Mum. What a shock.
You are obviously and understandably very emotional and overwrought.
If I were you I’d be taking a break from the footy and this board for a while - look after your mental health.

Not blaming him for the loss overall, but the simple fact is that had Higgo kicked that goal, we’d almost certainly be 4th at the end of the round, 4 points clear of 5th!

As it is we stay 5th, such is the remarkable set of results today, with 4 top 8 teams losing to sides well below them on the ladder.
We would still be in the same pickle of having a middling list with lots of holes.

Yeah we struggled to find anyone that could beat him in a one on one, as silly as it sounds Cordy might have been a better match up for him.

Sicily is a hard match up, he's smart, quick and strong, you need to put an elite player on him to match him and Cordy isn't that but at least he's strong.

Neither Caminiti or Sharman were strong enough to handle him.
Once it was clear that he was dominating so much we really should have put Max on him. What’s the point in having Max closer to goal if the ball doesn’t get down there, because Sicily keeps intercepting it?

Interesting that Sam Mitchell apparently said it was as good an individual game as he’s seen in footy.

For all those saying he had it easy as we kept kicking it to him, he still had a ridiculous 17 contested possessions, and 5 contested marks.

Was an all-time great defensive game.

Don't know if it was noticeable on TV but at the ground there were three occasions Phillipou shoulda made a tackle, coulda at least tried to make a tackle but ended up doing nothing. Defensive side of his game needs a lot of work.
Nice goal though.

That was the same last week, just throwing an arm out. That needs to be addressed or give him a spell.

Really? Alot of 'I dunno's' in there. Laughing and joking with the reporters lol. Doesn't fill me with much confidence at all. Only thing he said that I agreed with is that we got our right whack and would've snatched it had we won. Rest of it was him avoiding the issues and downplaying/laughing them off.
Honestly it’s all just media games. Imo internally he knows exactly what’s up.

Hey mate

Take a break you have a bit going on and the footy was shocking today

Switch the forum off and put some tunes on

All good, thank you. I will be okay. Am I venting, yes absolutely!!

Saints supporters jumping off now should be ashamed of themselves.

If you can't handle St Kilda at it's worst then you don't deserve St Kilda at it's best.

We've been through far worse than this, we're still in the Top 8 and a chance of playing finals this year.

If we end up like Carlton then melt away but we aren't as bad as them yet, we can still turn this around.

As Bon Jovi says, we've got to keep the faith.

Agreed. Byrnes has 0 AFL qualities.
Small, weak, can’t kick, not overly quick, makes poor decisions.
Whilst I agree regarding Byrnes apparent natural football ability, his athleticism can't be questioned. Behind the freak Tom Scully, the AFL app has Byrnes listed as the next highest ever recorded distance covered in an AFL game.
Byrnes is the least of our worriers and the low hanging fruit for criticism of the team and today's outcome.
In my opinion, genuine leadership and heart is what cost us today and sums up where we are as a club.

Watch the presser. I'm more confident in Ross turning this around than I was ratten and richo

It was obvious ratten and richo were out of their depth in their pressers.

Ross ain't in that bucket.
He knows what hes doing, he knows the list isn't there. But he also knows there is nothing he can do to the list properly until october

He can go become a long distance runner then I want footy players in the team

Condolences for your loss Bill. Happy for you to vent about the performance, was atrocious. End of the day it's a game of footy and perspective will roll around soon enough, we'll be back supporting them post bye, but think people should be able to let off a bit of steam immediately following a performance like that.

Hope you're doing alright mate

Would be good for him then to use the media opportunities as a way to speak to the supporters, because laughing and ****ing around in the pressers and wondering if the players will be up for the contest pre-game is not what most supporters want to see or hear. All good if the results are backing it up but they aren't. It's a horrible look.
